"They not only cleaned out the vent but investigated the cause and found that the vent on the roof had a screen that was causing poor air flow. They fixed over a year ago and I haven't had the problem since. They even called me back today, one year later to make sure everything was still good. Highly recommend them for this job!"

Jacob Hemed is a fair and honest man.  He placed great emphasis on providing me with the materials I selected, and, I believe, accurately advised me on the good points/short comings of my selections.  He is readily accessible as is his immediate support staff.  When one subcontractor made several glaring errors, Mr. Hemed had these mistakes rectified forthwith.  My wife and I were away during the time much of this work was accomplished and we were very pleased upon our return. Yes, I intend to hire Atlas General Contractors to finish the rest of the house.

"Adrian was a miracle worker! He arrived within 2 hours of my calling. He installed my new gas range after two installers from the company where I bought my range, told me I had the wrong hookups and could not do the work. But he did ! Adrian was very knowledgeable, great personality, and I am highly recommending Mr. Rooter!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

Yes, professional services include proper fuel line connection and ventilation to meet safety codes.

Appliances typically connected to a gas line include gas stoves, water heaters, furnaces, and gas fireplaces. Essentially, any appliance in your home that uses gas needs to be connected to a gas line, which connects your home with the main gas line owned and operated by your gas company.

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.

The most significant benefit of having a gas grill over a propane grill is that you never run out of fuel unless there’s an outage in your area, which is rare. Unlike with a propane grill, you’ll never need to haul tanks back and forth to a local fill station, and you’ll never find yourself unable to use your grill because you forgot to refill your tanks. Gas grills also burn slightly cleaner than propane grills, and natural gas costs significantly less than propane, meaning it’s more affordable to run your grill.

Gas grill installation costs around $540 on average, not including the price of the actual grill, and most homeowners pay between $120 and $1,400. This total will go toward laying down a new gas line, connecting it to your existing gas system, pressure testing the line, and connecting it to your grill. Your total project price will depend on the length of the gas line, whether or not the line needs to be installed underground, and the cost of the permits in your area.
