Small jobs welcome

"I walked in to take a look at the types of hurricanes shutters & was greeted immediately. In fact everyone was so nice & helpful I chose the shutters I wanted & the next day Eric was at my house taking measurements. In two weeks Raul & Frank were at my house installing my new shutters. They arrived as scheduled on time explained & answered a couple questions I had. A couple posts on my front porch had to be moved a couple inches to accommodate the shutters which they took care of perfectly. These guys were so nice & everything was cleaned up after installation. I really like the job they did. It was perfect. I have now told two friends of the great experience I had One was looking for shutters the other hurricane screen for her patio. Keep up the good work everyone?!!!"

"They made a beautiful awning that covered the entire back of my house. Everyone else told me I would have to have posts to hold the awning secure. I hated this. They thought out of the box and secured my awning to my pool cage. I am thrilled!! They were very professional and very nice to work with. I would highly recommend them."

"I am a home inspector and I had damaged a customer's ceiling while up in their attic. Trace got me in right away and took care of the repair, my customer was extremely satisfied. Before finding Trace, I had 3 other people bail on me for this job at the last minute or simply not show up, which made me look bad to my customer, but they were so happy with Trace's work that it made up for the delay caused by the other people. I will most certainly use Trace for all future work that I need and recommend him to anyone who needs work done."

Awnings questions, answered by experts

Metal awnings last much longer than fabric thanks to their durability and resistance to fading, sun damage, and damage from the outside elements. They also need less maintenance than fabric options. Both items add curb appeal to your home, but you shouldn't expect either type of awning to add property value to your home.

Minor fabric patching is DIY-friendly, but frame and mechanical repairs should be professionally handled.

The average cost to build a pergola ranges from $2,200 to $6,400, whereas the average cost of an awning ranges from $1,400 to $4,400, meaning that an awning tends to be less expensive to build or install than a pergola. Ultimately, the less expensive option depends on a few factors, including size, quality of materials used, and location.

Awnings can be a serious investment for homeowners, particularly if it features a motorized and retractable design. Protect the exterior of your home by choosing a reliable and reputable contractor. Do some research ahead of time to get an idea of the potential contractor’s strengths and weaknesses. Don’t hesitate to give them a call to discuss specifics.

Costs range from $1,000 to $5,000, depending on size, material, and design complexity.
