Our mission is to be a concrete contractor that brings back the personal touch with our customers. We will build a relationship that will last a lifetime after you see our quality work. For three decades, concrete has been more than a service. It's been a family commitment to permanence. What started as a father-and-son trade—learning that shortcuts don't save money, they cost it—has evolved into a multi-generational mission. That integrity in preparation prevents failures later. That the difference between "done" and "done right" is measured in years of durability. As a locally family owned and operated business we feel invested in our clients and constantly strive for customer satisfaction. We won't leave until the job is done right! Call or text to schedule an estimate today! 352-932-3006. Thank you and God Bless!

Madewell Concrete is Metro Orlando's top trusted concrete provider for driveway replacements. Replacing driveways is a large undertaking and an investment that will pay-off for years in terms of property value and longevity of use, so it’s important to use a driveway replacement company you can trust. Madewell Concrete specializes in residential concrete replacement. If you are considering a driveway replacement in the Orlando area, it’s important to trust a professional concrete provider that considers all the functional elements required to build a new driveway that lasts for years to come. Your driveway gets put through a lot — not only is it responsible for holding up against several tons of vehicular metal and rubber, but it also has to endure storms, sleet, and, of course, those blisteringly hot southern summer days in Orlando. Although there’s a lot to expect from a driveway, Madewell Concrete will install one that does it all. One component that separates us from competition is our commercial-grade concrete. The commercial-grade concrete we use is over 4 inches thick and has a rating of 3000 to 4000 psi. As a point of reference, 4000 psi is the same as airport runways, so you can rest assured your driveway can withhold extreme wear and tear over the years. Additionally, our commercial-grade concrete requires virtually no maintenance. We guarantee the longevity of our driveway replacements with a 10-year limited warranty. Aesthetic Component of Your Driveway Your driveway is one of the first elements that visitors experience on your property, it should have an attractive, clean appearance that complements the exterior of your home. For this reason, we offer a variety of colors, textures, and patterns for your driveway. So, if you’re not a fan of plain gray, don’t worry—you have many attractive design options to choose from.

"Absolutely by all means do not contract with this vendor. We had a project completed in September 2023 (it is now January 2024) and they have completely screwed us in payments. We ended up taking a loan for our project, they charged our credit card and took the loan, crickets from their team when we kept asking for a refund since they were being paid through the loan. Then a lien got put on our house because they did not pay their subcontractors. We were able to dispute the charge through our CC, but the rest has not been resolved. The work looks good, but the rest of the procedures has been an absolute nightmare and they are horrible to get in contact with or justify their business practices. DO NOT RECOMMEND!"

Randall Anderson, owner of Randall's remodel repair has been serving the Orlando area for over 20 years providing quality remodeling, home repair and building services of all types.

"We hired Randall after checking reviews on Angie's List, Nextdoor and checking the BBB. There was nothing but praise for the work he had done for people. We came to an agreement on price and the work started fine. After a short time he started showing up less and less and the project drug out. We kept giving draws every time he asked for money until most of the work was paid for, though not complete. On July 27th Randall asked for another $1000, thank goodness it took a little while for my wife to get a break so she could write a check, when she took it down to him all of his tools, etc., were gone. He left the job unfinished (about 75% complete) and when we gave him notice of abandonment he replied by email to sue him but we wouldn't get much from a defunct company with no assets. The stucco was not finished, the door that was installed was not sealed around frame (open to the elements), electrical unfinished, water faucet not installed, screen pool cage frame and screen not replaced, holes in wall not repaired, balcony rail not complete, balusters not compliant or grouted, gutter not reattached, lights in pantry and under balcony not installed, trim around kitchen window not installed, French door hanging loose, hinge screws not tightened, and none of the painting has been completed. Then there is the damage to other items from not protecting them while work was performed such as stucco globs all over the poos deck, the pool deck drain is blocked by stucco and or concrete, pavers brick missing (don't know where that went, it was there when work started), stucco and grout left in the yard what was St. Augustine. I am sure there are things I missed, but this shows Mr. Anderson is not of the same character as he was at some point in the past."

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

Two types of masonry are veneer masonry and solid masonry. Veneer masonry is thin brick or stone material attached to the face of a building. With veneer masonry, the walls support the weight of the masonry products rather than the masonry being built on a concrete footing. Solid masonry is a wall or other brick or stone structure built on a concrete footing, and the masonry supports itself.

Building a concrete driveway normally takes between one and three days, including the time to cure the concrete. Wait at least seven days before driving on your driveway and two days before walking on it. Your contractor may require additional time if you need to level the ground, install a drainage system, or order special concrete materials. Installing a driveway also often requires a permit, so be sure to include this wait into your prep time as well.

You should water new concrete by spraying it five to 10 times per day for the first seven days. This process of moist curing allows the concrete to become as strong as possible to prevent cracks and weak concrete. Moist-cured concrete is 50% stronger than concrete that was not sprayed with water during the first week. The only exception is if you pour concrete in the winter. Then, spraying with water is not recommended.

Concrete should be at least 2 inches thick to maintain its stability and quality. Most concrete slabs fall between 4 and 6 inches thick, but you should be careful not to make the new slab too high or heavy. If you're considering a stamped concrete overlay, hire an experienced stamped concrete contractor to determine the ideal concrete thickness.

For most homeowners, wood and wood screws are the best materials to make concrete forms because they’re affordable, readily available, and easy to work with. Steel is a better concrete form material because you can use it thousands of times for repeated work, but this is most useful in commercial applications where one job is necessary many times over.
