"He was excellent. I am so happy he came out to help me assemble a bed, table and chairs. He was professional, respectful, and efficient; as well as having a reasonable hourly rate. Will definitely contact for services again!"

"I was not originally contacted by the provider as stated in the e-mail I received from Angies List, so I had to call them to schedule an appointment.  When I did call them, I was told that they never received my information from Angies List and that this had been happening to him quite often and other providers who were using Angies List that he spoke with.  Once I contacted him we had no issues with setting up a day and time.
The original time was set for 9:00 AM but he called and said he was delayed at another job due to an emergency and would be about an hour late.  He showed up within that hour and the job was completed with no problems.  The cleaning took less than a half hour and the carpet looked great.  They even picked up the couch in the living room and cleaned under it before putting back down on foam squares to protect the carpet from the couch metal legs.  They did a great job and were very friendly.

"Shed movers exceeded our expectations. Tim had so much knowledge and ideas as to what size would work best for our needs. After we placed our shed order, It became necessary to request a later than expected delivery date, Tabitha was very gracious, and and understanding. Prior to this - we realized we better change the trim color, called and the owner Ron answered, he made sure that happened for us. What a Super Group of people. The delivery people were very polite, professional. It is as if they can't do enough to ensure you are totally pleased with your decision. The guarantee they stand by for their product, is I believe quite rare these days. I just could not imagine shopping anywhere else for the products they offer. Thank you Shed Movers."

Greenhouses and Nurseries questions, answered by experts

The quickest way you can protect plants and trees from frost is to cover them with garden blankets or frost cloths. Also, bringing potted plants or trees indoors is much simpler than trying to cover and protect them outdoors. Remember to anchor blankets with something such as sandbags, fabric pins, or rocks if the forecast calls for strong winds to keep them from blowing away and exposing your trees and plants.

In most cases, wait three to five days to repot or relocate a plant from a greenhouse or nursery. That way, your plant has time to recover from any shock during the move and adapt to the conditions in and around your home. Some hearty plants may not need as long, and delicate plants might need several weeks. You should ask the professional at your nursery for a recommended timeline. Consider asking about an initial watering schedule to help stimulate root growth and promote a healthy plant.

Eco-friendly materials include sustainably-sourced woods, recycled metals, low-VOC paints, and non-toxic sealants, which reduce environmental impact. Using these in repairs promotes sustainability and can improve indoor air quality and overall building health.

Adding burnt charcoal to your garden beds and plant pots can yield several benefits, but there are risks involved, too. Charcoal, particularly biochar, can enhance soil structure, improve water drainage, and increase nutrient retention. When activated, charcoal provides key nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. However, burnt charcoal, especially from briquettes, can inadvertently alter soil's pH levels and become hazardous to plants. Overall, there are better and less risky soil amendments available, such as vermiculite, perlite, or wood chips.

Minor fixes like patching leaks or repainting are DIY-friendly, but structural repairs require professional expertise.
