Best hurricane shutter pros near Atlantis, FL

"Alex from Three County Hurricane Shutters is wonderful. Arrived on time. Very professional and pleasant. He really knows shutters. We will definitely utilize his services in the future. We recommend him highly!"

"Excellent work with highly professional organization. From quote through inspection, Shutter Services provided excellent service and prompt communications. Despite the backlog of work following recent hurricanes, installation was made ahead of schedule as initially forecast."

"Four different companies submitted proposals to install my hurricane shutters. All of them seemed good but Guardian was clearly the best. I feel it is one of the finest companies I have ever dealt with. Andy, the owner, is a trained engineer and made excellent suggestions that no one else thought of, saving me from making a number of serious errors. Guardian manufactures excellent shutters, installs them perfectly, and provides reliable maintenance services. They refuse to accept any payment until the work is inspected and approved. Guardian is a pleasure to deal with!"

"I hired them to check out my shutters to make sure they were hurricane Helene ready. Unlike other companies I had investigated, they refused to give me a price saying that they needed to assess the situation first. The others gave me a base price based on the number of windows times $20/window. But they indicated it could be more based on what they had to do, Clearly this seemed like a blind item one way or another so I selected Suncoast for the most illogical reason....they had the number 513 in their phone number....this has been a lucky number for me forever. Anyway, Alex and Diego came and they were very pleasant, gave me an assessment, to which I agreed, and did the work just in time before it started to pour. All and all, I'm glad to be able to face the rest of the hurricane season in Florida without having to worry about having my shutters taken care of. Incidentally , Holly in the office is also wonderful. Now that Helene won't come here, except for rain and wind, I'm much more relaxed."

"Luckily for Florida, 2025 was a quiet year from a hurricane perspective and we did not have to use the hurricane shutters through the season. Two weeks ago, when we were heading out of town for Thanksgiving holiday, noticed a misalignment in one of the shutters preventing it from on the rail. I contacted the vendor via email and got immediate response. Repair assessment was scheduled for December 3rd after our arrival. Joel Batista called on us yesterday and identified the problem right away. Joel was back this afternoon with Lewis and solved the problem in a very thorough manner. He was very patient in explaining to me what the issue was and how he fixed it. Very pleasant person to work with. First Alert is a great company for hurricane shutters and will highly recommend it anytime. Thank you very much, Joel & Lewis! Wonderful job done efficiently."

"Extremely satisfied with the overall service. Very professional staff who was always available whenever I reached out. No matter the day or the time, I could always call and get an answer to my questions. I love the end product and I am so happy that we finally purchased this necessity which we kept putting up. I would definitely recommend Guinn & Sons to anyone who is considering to purchase Hurricane protection."

"I couldnâ t write in what he did . Fixed one of my hurricane shutters. Now it shuts !!"

"We had our entire house done with hurricane windows and slider doors. Joe is, by FAR, the complete package when it comes to professionalism. From the extremely thorough initial visit explaining the different options and the processes, through construction and all permits and inspections, Joe was excellent. It's not often when the owner of a business takes such an active role in the construction and the results were obvious. It's also not often when you meet someone with such honesty and integrity and really driven to do what the right thing to do and never ever cutting corners. I would strongly encourage anyone needing work done to contact Joe. You'll be glad you did."
