"I needed my upstairs shutters removed to repair the balcony. They came and worked hard to remove them since the people that tried to repair my balcony added glue around the shutters. They worked really hard. After the balcony was fixed they came back and installed the shutters. I was very happy with the work they performed.

"We've used this company twice and been very happy with their work both times. They are professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. We first had them put shutters on all of the windows of our house a few years ago, and then later called them to add a shutter on one door. They are great at what they do and I would highly recommend them to my friends."

"We needed a maintenance visit for our hurricane shutters and Suncoast awnings and shutters did an excellent job. They were prompt, courteous, and helpful. We will be using them again in the future."

"First Alert Hurricane Shutters came out to inspect my hurricane shutters before hurricane season and sent me a quote to lubricate shutters and replace two locking handles. I accepted quote and they scheduled an appointment all in a very short time frame. I was very pleased with the timely response and excellent service I received."

"We had our entire house done with hurricane windows and slider doors. Joe is, by FAR, the complete package when it comes to professionalism. From the extremely thorough initial visit explaining the different options and the processes, through construction and all permits and inspections, Joe was excellent. It's not often when the owner of a business takes such an active role in the construction and the results were obvious. It's also not often when you meet someone with such honesty and integrity and really driven to do what the right thing to do and never ever cutting corners. I would strongly encourage anyone needing work done to contact Joe. You'll be glad you did."

"Mr. Kivett is a very professional person and has a very good knowledge about shutters. He was able to resolve the problem with one of my shutters. Mr. Kivett performed an excellent work and will use his services in the future."

"It went just like it has on the three different occasions that I have used D & D, without any complications. They are professional and a pleasure to deal with, which is virtually impossible to find these days. Since they are a manufacturer, not just installers, they are extremely expedient and they make shutters that fit perfectly. They have excellent follow up. I give them my highest recommendation.
