"Have already decided on hiring Pablo (Sky Painting, Inc.) again for additional painting. Pablo and his crew are professional, extremely courteous and did a wonderfully perfect paint job in my rooms. Also invisibly repaired my ceilings."

"Bobbie and Benny were amazing. Punctual. Honest. Hard working. Something special when the owners of a company are doing the work because they take pride in their efforts. They wanted to make sure the house was painted to perfection so that it was the nicest house on the block. Not only did they paint the exterior of the house, but they painted our driveway, walk way, shingles to the roof, the shed out back and they repaired and painted the flashing on the roof. Fair pricing. Hard working. Honest business practices. We would highly recommend them."

Painting questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can limewash surfaces other than brick. Plaster, stone, stucco, and concrete can all also be limewashed. Any porous surface that will absorb the wash is a good candidate for limewash, although it won’t help much with waterproofing. If you choose to limewash over paint, you’ll need to prep before applying it to avoid a powdery, chalky finish. Shiny surfaces like metal or glass can’t absorb limewash, so it’s not suited for these.

Yes, many fence repair services include treatments like sanding, priming, rust prevention, and repainting to protect the fence and restore its appearance. These services help prevent further corrosion and improve aesthetics. However, since not all providers include this, it is best to confirm what is covered before scheduling the repair.

Regular cleaning, touch-ups for small defects, and resealing or repainting every 2-3 years help to maintain a vibrant appearance and protection.

Rags used with oil-based stains are highly flammable and can spontaneously combust in the right conditions. To reduce the fire risk, throw them in a metal container after use and add rocks on top to secure them. Add an inch of water and seal the container. Take the rags in the container to a hazardous waste factory as soon as possible.

The best type of paint to use for chain link fences is an oil-based paint. Oil-based paints are durable and will withstand the elements well. Search for an oil-based paint with rust protection and aluminum flakes to further protect the longevity of the fence.
