As always Garry was a professional, as he kept us advised of everything he was doing. Once he started the project he was always on the site in a timely manner, and work steadily throughout the day until the project was completed. Garry was also very flexible as there was a few additional items we ask him to complete which he did with no problem. Garry was very dedicated in seeing that his work was done correctly, and he was always looking to make sure he did not miss anything. The price of this project was clearly appropriate for the work that was performed. In the future, if I have any project that meet's Garry expectise I will have no problem in asking for his services, as he has shown me he has the work ethic, responsiveness and overall character that you look for in a service provider.- Alan G.

Cutting Edge Renovation & Painting, LLCI am very satisfied with the results of Cutting Edge Renovation & Painting. I started with a refreshing of kitchen cabinets and countertops and bathrooms. I added kitchen floors, backsplash change and floating shelves. All were done to my specifications and satisfaction. The bathrooms were completely updated top to bottom. Everything turned out just as I imagined and beautiful. We stayed with my Mom during reno, so she heard the interactions. She said, “I know you haven’t known them long, but they seem more like family instead of contractors.” It’s a true statement. They are professional, but they take their work as personally as I did. Golden Hammer ConstructionGolden Hammer did an amazing job on our very 80s kitchen! They did a complete gut job, replaced walls, painted, installed new cabinets, countertops, and backsplash. Drew and Shawn are extremely professional, transparent, and responsive. Julio and Steven were also great and professional. We felt safe and comfortable having them in our home. Although they were not the cheapest option, they were very clear on pricing. No items from vendors or subs were marked up - instead, the quote has a line that shows their profit. This was really helpful as we could get a clear handle on costs. They also contract with a real artist for tilework. We had a different pattern for our backsplash that involved "random" placement of certain tiles. Robert took extra care to ensure he understood the pattern, and the result is stunning. The only con is that our main lead was let go from the company towards the end of our job. This meant that some final touches were dragged out a bit longer than we felt they should have been. However, this was minor and handled with us in a professional way. We would happily work with Golden Hammer again!- Allison V.

Matt's Maintenance & RemodelingMatt and his team were excellent and professional throughout our remodeling. We needed extensive remodeling during the pandemic, which posed extra challenges, but Matt and his team stayed the course and were extremely professional during the whole process. Our house looks beautiful now! Matt was also the only contractor who was very cognizant of our budget and offered money saving advice throughout the process. We remodeled 3 bathrooms, our kitchen, plus had our floors replaced. I would not hesitate to hire him again.- Shannon L.

His and partner Bruce's expertise is impeccable. Fantastic people to work with too. He explains everything, walks me through the job when it was done. Even though I was watching and inspecting the work as they went along. No complaints whatsoever. I will be calling him to paint the exterior when I'm ready!! GS Painting LLCGarry's work is meticulous! Every little detail is carefully considered in order for the project to be absolutely perfect. For every thing that presented itself as a possible problem, Garry had a great suggestion that only enhanced the project. When Garry started the job he found the understructure of the deck was very much in need of repair. He did an amazing job of repair. This is the second large project that Garry has carried out for us; the other was a barn - super job. We would not hire another painter for any job. The crew, headed up by Mark Mathew and Nik Rasmus, was on time, very professional and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with everything that they did and all was done the way I wanted. The paint job was up to my expectations. They were neat and clean and as I said did everything I asked to complete the job. They finished, cleaned up, and were gone in a timely fashion (about a day and a half). I would definitely hire them again. The house looks great.

I could write several pages of praise of John Seamans and his business. Their work was excellent; his crew was capable and polite. I had no qualms at all about leaving home while they were working. These men worked on my house every day for a month. They were always - 100% - on time, and John gave advance notice of any change of schedule. They can perform almost any type of home maintenance work, and the work is done perfectly. I feel as though I have a new house. I intend to hire this business in the future to do maintenance touchups as needed.
