Tolbert was fantastic! Chris went above and beyond for our project. The attention to detail was amazing. We will have them back to do other projects as they arise. Tolbert will be doing a project for another family member in the near future because of our recommendation.

They did a great job. Chris was able to hang the dining room botanical print wall paper quickly, neatly and efficiently. The striped wallpaper I selected for the bathroom turned out to be a bad choice on my part as the walls are all crooked in the bathroom. Chris had to spend a lot of time trying to get it straight.

This job could not have gone better. We are so pleased with the results. From the very beginning when Chris came to evaluate the work to be done, right up to today when the last bit of touching up was finished, it has been a real pleasure to have Tolbert and Sons in our home. Avery and Kevin were real pros, arriving on time, going right to work, and giving us great service while they treated our house with great care. The garage turned out well. There were a few things done that was not perfect. They painted over some light bulbs and covers. The basement turned out great as well. There were several guys that came out and completed the project (including a ridiculous amount of nail pops) in just 3 days. This was the quaility of work I expected for the main 2 floors. The interior was another story. I was told when I received the bid that it would be a project that was squeezed in since they were very booked. Price was lower than the competitors so we hired. The company sent out 1 man to conduct the job. He was all over the place, missed spots and I was getting very stressed out. He fixed some nail pops but didn’t complete all of them. Additionally we would come home and see furniture and new carpet had not been covered up. Brush lines are still visable in spots along with paint runs. The home was empty and without furniture for 1 month. They were unable to complete the job while it was empty. The company had to come out after the pervious sub contractor was complete to try and fix and better the quality of the final product. Additionally, not everything was as it should be when final payment was made. There are stilll definite brush marks and color differences along all the corners and seems. Due to furniture being delivered that was too heavy to move, I will have to ask them to come out when we move again to see if they can finish some spots. The crew that came out to fix the job did well but there was so much space to cover they didn’t get everything. We are still noticing spots along the home that weren’t caught.

Excellent. Very happy with the work that was done. We had Avery doing the paint for the ceiling, walls and trim work. Avery did a terrific job. Nice guy and very personable. He paid attention to detail and made sure all furniture was covered. At end of day everything was cleaned up. Chris came in and looked everything over and asked if we were pleased with the work. Excellent. They moved everything, sanded and prepped all surfaces and applied two coats of paint. When we discussed the job I forgot to ask him to paint the front door inside and outside so it wasn’t in the contract. I offered to pay extra, Chris said don’t worry about it and even bought the paint for the exterior of the door! The end result is a truly custom paint job that looks wonderful.

This is an update to a previous review. There were some hiccups that were corrected and done quite well. Chris came out and checked on everything to make sure the follow up was done correctly. It was done to perfection. Plan on having home redo our sidewalk and garage floor

Had work done approx 8 months ago. Power wash first. Killed several expensive plants. Missed some areas when painting. Asked him to use exterior semi-gloss and he used flat. Now paint is peeling off after less than a year application......Cheap unnamed paint brand, poorly prepped resulted in poor result.

Every aspect was professionally handled. I was very satisfied with their work. Chris was very attentive to detains and made sure that all aspects were to my complete satisfaction. Earnie was one of a kind worker who is very experienced and hard working. I would definitely recommend their company and would consider using their company for my future painting projects.

Great. Chris and Ernie did a fantastic job. They were professional and helpful. They went above and beyond to get the job done!!! Their prices are reasonable. We would use them again in a heartbeat. In fact, Chris will be giving me a quote for more work - this time on the exterior of the house.

This is the second time I have used Tolbert & Sons and, once again, I was completely pleased with their work. Chris is honest, gives fair estimates, keeps his word, is patient, and his crew has the same values as Chris. Their work is first rate--absolutely beautiful! Their prep and paint quality are outstanding, as well. Chris and his team are pleasant, respectful, cause the absolute minimum of disruption, and they clean up at the end of each day. Their goal is to have a happy client--and they succeed!. When I was at work and when I was out of town, I had no worries at all about having Tolbert & Sons painters in my house. I will definitely use them again!

Tolbert and Sons were very courteous, professional and punctual. I can't tell you how important it is to have at least two of these qualities today. I'm a very picky person and sometimes you have to have the patience of Job to deal with me. Trust me, they have patience! Much to my satisfaction, I was very pleased with the outcome. My bedroom walls look like a million bucks without being taken to the bank! I have a tray ceiling, which was painted white and the cut between the color of the walls and the ceiling was so precise it was ridiculous. No taping or small brush, a 3 inch BRUSH! I know. They did such a good job now I can't stand the other two bedrooms. Well... I guess I'll have to hire them again; and I will in a heartbeat. HIRE THEM. You won't be disappointed.

The 2 gentleman, his staff; did most of the work. They covered everything with plastic. I had moved my furniture out of my bedroom. I was very pleased that the dust was limited. They came each day early. They took very little time off, and worked 8-4 pm. They did come 1 Saturday to do some work. When they were finished, they made sure I had a pathway in my house that was uncovered to walk around. I had a very good rapor with the staff (a father & son team). The owner, Chris kept in touch by phone and stopped by to make sure things were done the way he wanted. I was very pleased with the work they did!
