I picked Pierce because he was well reviewed, and he didn’t try to upsell me. “You don’t need a retaining wall” he said, just stairs. When I was considering mulch rather than seed he said a similar thing “I don’t even think mulch will work with all the thistle you have.” I found Pierce to be very knowledgeable in addressing issues that came up throughout the project, and very efficient. I checked him on the cost of each phase of the project, and I always found his number reasonable. He is a bit of a perfectionist - he wants things done the right way. But the result has been worth it. I now have a beautiful lawn and steps where before there was nothing. He has even followed up with me several times since to check on how the lawn is progressing.
