Juan, his son and the rest of the crew did a great job in repairing and installing a16 foot second wall with column to my patio. They also had to remove half of the pavers to re-level the patio and added pavers to fill-in the 3 feet of bed between the house and the patio on the left side of the steps. They were punctual and very professional. They laid down 4x8 plywood from my front driveway around the back of my house for heavier equipment to protect my grass. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the job that they did and plan to have them back next spring to add some lights to the other wall and columns as we really like the one's that they installed on the new wall.

Went well, great communication, once materials became available quick completion of the project.

Carlos and his workers were professional from the start. He assisted with thoughts on the design and type/color of pavers to be used. The estimate was reasonable and in line with other estimates. The work itself was done with great care and attention to every detail. I rarely say this... but this work exceeded the expectations we had for it. We absolutely love the results. Juan Carlos and son did a excellent job from start to finish. A couple of other crew members came at a later date. They are hard workers and cared about how the finished project looked. The pricing is reasonable and they came when they said they were coming. Lighting is a little pricey but well worth the finish look. I will be using them again for future projects.

I'm very picky and quite pleased with Sylca's quality of work and fair price. The paver patio, seat wall, and fire pit as an extension to our existing patio is just what we wanted. Juan Carlos and his team were there when they said they would be and were flexible with our needs. They're hard working, honest, and did a great job with challenging weather conditions.

Great. Did the work earlier than expected, came right back out and fixed a couple areas that were missed. These guys do a great job.

Before I continue I just want whoever is reading this to know that I don't normally give bad reviews but this time I have to. First of all, I hired Sylca for landscaping (to clean out the mulch, take out old bushes, add rocks and replant 4 Azalea bushes). I live in a town home and my "landscaping" area is very small. Sylca charged me $500 (which I found out later I overpaid). While he was there, he said he would mow my lawn and take care of the landscaping for $30 - I said sure. Within 2 months 3 of the 4 bushes he planted died. I called him up and he told me I was responsible for them (didn't understand that one but ok) so I paid, again, for him to replant the bushes. As part of the mowing he was supposed to weed around the bushes - he never did. Every time he came I either told one of the guys or emailed him that he needed to weed. The last time he came - sure enough weeds were not pulled. So I emailed him with pictures and he proceeded to tell me that he is not responsible for any weeds that are not around the bushes. I was like what? So I told him fine and to send me my last invoice. I have since hired someone else who is charging me $25 to not only mow and weed and landscape but he is also taking care of a tree that is on my sidewalk that Sycla never even touched.

Juan Carlos, the President, was punctual, courteous and professional. When he came to my home for the consultation, he described (and showed me pictures of) my options and I ended up paying a little more to upgrade the materials and pattern for the walkway. On the day of installation -- which was a few days earlier than originally anticipated -- Juan Carlos and his crew were punctual, polite and friendly and it took only 4 or 5 hours to complete the work. They went above and beyond in removing my old paver stones and putting them where I requested in my back yard (although that wasn't part of what I had contracted for), and did a beautiful job on the installation. During the installation, they laid down additional gravel and sand and protective barrier before they installed the pavers. Then they smoothed everything out, made the height from the walkway to the front porch safer and a more comfortable stepping distance (the step from the porch to the walkway before was so high it could be dangerous, and they fixed it without even mentioning that they were going to do so, and without charging me extra for it), and applied a cement-type product to make the pavers stick solidly together. Before they left, they added additional mulch to the planter beds next to the walkway, which matched the mulch I already had down, then raked it all smooth (which, again, wasn't specified in my contract but they did it anyway). They also cleaned up all of the debris from the work and rolled up my garden hose and placed it back where I normally store it. I would definitely recommend Sylca Inc.

Juan Carlos was punctual and professional. His work was well done and done timely. I was unsure about the color I had chosen and he went over and above to ensure I choose a color that would satisfy me. I have already hired for a second job.

Job was usually well done. Communication from owner or follow up on doing other things was not good.
