"Alex with Diaz Fencing was very punctual and easy to work and communicate with. He came out for the consultation and knew exactly what would be best for our yard. We had been trying to figure out how to do the project ourself for a year since buying our home, but we had a pretty steep decline in the back of our property that would cause the fence to be un level if not fixed properly. Alex suggested doing a retaining wall, and did so in a very cost effective yet still safe and great looking way. He even added solar lights to the decorative steps he created as a bonus without mentioning it. "In late fall, I noticed that a piece of a stone wall abutting my driveway had broken off and was drifting into the driveway. Concerned that the wall would fall into the driveway, I contacted Quinn Brothers Masonry. They came out within two days, assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. The work involved taking down both walls, knocking off old mortar on the stones, and removing ivy. After the walls were taken down, protective covering was placed on the exposed dirt, and drainage pipes and gravel were installed. They then rebuilt the walls, using the original stones. While rebuilding the walls, Patrick Quinn advised me that my stone house foundation had been compromised by paint and old mortar. I authorized additional work to restore the foundation. The paint on the stone foundation was removed and the old mortar was taken out. Then, the entire foundation had new mortar installed. I am extremely pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again."

"Gary Pierrtti designed and installed a curved front brick walkway, an L shaped side brick walkway for our new home last fall. We are delighted with his work and have received so many compliments from our neighbors. Gary just completed a major patio installation for us for our sloped backyard. He put in a curved retaining wall that also serves as extra seating around the fire pit also made out of interlocking pavers. As I was completely overwhelmed with decision making from doing a major demolation/remodel of the inside of the house, my husband and I gave Gary freedom to pick colors and design for the patio project. Who does that? Someone who has used Gary for major projects over the last decade and has always been so happy with his eye for design, color and work. The walkways Gary installed 9 years ago in our old house look as good now as they did when he first did the work. Our project went extremely well.  During the estimate, Mr. Widdose sought to understand our expectations and explained everything that needed to be done (and why) so we had a full understanding of what to expect.  Mr. Widdose (Rick) had no issues with providing requested info regarding licensing and insurance.  This was very important to us as some of the contractors we contacted could not do so.  He also provided a detailed estimate; his work was true to the estimate.   They arrived to do the job when he said they would.  All old concrete was removed and replaced.  This included the front stoop, landing and sidewalk.  They also replaced our garage floor and rear patio - installing the drainage pipes underneath it.  They were very respectful of our property as well as our neighbor's.  They disposed of all removed materials and topsoiled, graded, and seeded all disturbed areas.  Rick and his crew were professional in every way - punctual and respectful. Their work ethic and skills were topnotch.  He also educated us in the proper care of the new concrete to ensure years of durability.  Although the highest bid we received, I would use them again and recommend them highly.
