"What an amazing transformation of my flooring. Mike put his heart and soul into this job. It required a lot of sanding and then coating with polyurethane. During the process, Mike kept me in the loop as to what he was doing. In fact, he put down three different stains for me to decide which one I thought would look the best. "I felt they did a fairly good job, just missed some details and seemed to rush through the cleaning. Two people came to clean and they did not stay for 3 hours... they were probably here for 2 hours total, so I feel like more time could have been spent to avoid missing some of the details. Examples of what was missed: - lamps were not dusted - wine bottles and wine shelves in a piece of furniture were missed (i did ask her to do them and she did) - a tile shelf in the bathroom was not cleaned and still had grime on it - missed dusting nightstands and dusting under the bed. They are VERY responsive! I sincerely appreciated the ability to communicate through email and she emailed back right away."

No matter which method you choose, you can rest assured that both techniques will leave your floor looking shiny and new.  

Using too much soap or floor cleaner can leave your laminate floors looking dirty or cloudy after mopping. Only use a teaspoon of soap or cleaning solution in a gallon of water. Additionally, always be sure to sweep or vacuum laminate floors before mopping to ensure you pick up dried grit, hair, and dust that can be harder to catch with a wet mop.

Baking soda is an excellent choice for a natural dog urine neutralizer. You can sprinkle it on a stain, leave it overnight, and then vacuum it in the morning to help rid your hardwoods of the dog urine smell. Hydrogen peroxide is another odor neutralizer, but be careful not to mix it with other household cleaners.

Distilled white vinegar can help you remove candle wax from surfaces like countertops.
