"We had a small issue with the original date of installation as two of their crew were out sick. Chris the supervisor actually came to start the work that same day and it was finished the next day. They had to cut out the old tile and drywall and replace it. The job was not simple as it involved cutting colored tiled and having to match the pattern on the ends of the wall. They did tremendous work and I would definitely call them again when I decide to do my bathrooms.

"hired a painter based on angie list coupon.  easy to book, painter was nice and professional, arrived on time, completed the work in the agreed upon time frame and cleaned up after himself.  all seemed to be well; however, after really having a chance to inspect the work there are little specks of paint that I continue to clean off my counter/floor/tile and tub.  this is really frustrating.  I paint frequently and just didn't have time for another project so we took advantage of this offer; however, I wish I wouldn't have since I continue to clean up specks 18 months later!

Glass Block questions, answered by experts

Glass walls are more expensive overall than their brick or drywall counterparts. However, if you need walls for a building with more than two or three stories, glass walls are the more budget-friendly option.

Yes, many professionals provide custom-cut glass replacements for enclosures that require precise sizing.

Heavy glass tends to be more expensive than thin glass because it is stronger and more durable. In most cases, ¼-inch-thick glass is ideal for mirrors, and ⅛-inch-thick glass is ideal for residential windows. Heavier glass isn’t always necessary, and can be more challenging to hang or install. Work with a local window installation pro for replacement or new construction windows.

Most installations take 1-3 days, depending on the number of blocks and customization requirements.

Glass block installation can be relatively expensive due to the range of material costs and the labor time to assemble this type of specialty window. The process proceeds slowly as the glass does not absorb moisture from mortar and silicone caulk takes longer to harden, leaving spacers to hold up the structure until the caulk or mortar begins to cure. Plus, if your current windows have structural issues or damage, you’ll need to repair them before beginning the project, increasing your bottom line.
