"This company has provided excellent snow removal services. I do not have the easiest driveway to plow because of the surrounding landscape and a retaining wall. There is also a drain that has to be kept clear. Home Facelifters thoroughly cleared the snow early in the morning and also did an excellent job keeping the drain clear."

"Very well. Gary answered my initial phone call and called back within 5 minutes to set up an appointment as he was in the middle of project. An appointment was set up for a couple of days later and he started painting within 2 1/2 weeks of my initial phone call. Gary was friendly, reliable and prompt. He offered advice in terms of paint color choices. He did necessary repair work needed on house before painting. In addition he offered to wash several of my large high windows and gave me access to an outdoor faucet turn-off in the basement, tasks done at no extra charge."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

The cost of sandblasting depends on the scope of the project, the surface type, labor, and equipment required. Services typically cost between $50 and $80 per hour, though most professionals charge by surface area at a rate of $1.50 to $7 per square foot. Total project costs can range from $700 to $12,500, with an average homeowner spending around $3,200 to sandblast a 1,000-square-foot surface.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.
