Perfection In Painting

Gary Dansereau is an independent guy that just works for himself and he did an excellent job.  He does both interior and exterior painting and he has been doing it for thirty years.  He is our neighbor so he just might have given us a better price but I don’t know.  He is very friendly and very professional as well.  The price that he charged us was very reasonable.  He did outstanding work, the doors look beautiful. 

They did a super job. I liked him. I am very happy with his work. I think he is a good painter. He was very neat. He did a good job on my ceiling.

Very well. Gary answered my initial phone call and called back within 5 minutes to set up an appointment as he was in the middle of project. An appointment was set up for a couple of days later and he started painting within 2 1/2 weeks of my initial phone call. Gary was friendly, reliable and prompt. He offered advice in terms of paint color choices. He did necessary repair work needed on house before painting. In addition he offered to wash several of my large high windows and gave me access to an outdoor faucet turn-off in the basement, tasks done at no extra charge.

Everything went very well. Gary was on time, courteous, worked steadily, and performed and completed the work as contracted.

I called for an estimate, and he came over right away to have a look at the job. He gave me a quote the next day and was able to do the work the day after that. He ended up doing a little more than I originally planned, but I'm glad it worked out that way because he did a way better job than I could ever have done myself. When there was a small problem due to some ancient undercoats of who knows what, he came right back and spent two more hours fixing it. The result looks great. Gary is really personable, dependable and very reasonable.

I originally contacted him to consult about paint colors and painting. He had great ideas about color and ways to make my new home look very classy. After talking to three references who all raved about the work he did, both inside and outside. I decided to hire him to repair the walls and paint. There was a LOT of repair work to be done. Gary was extremely careful with details and did significant prep plugging nail holes in the trim, fixing all kinds of wall problems. In one place where I'd had to cut out the bottom of two walls, he cut new wall board and installed it so that it looked like a brand new wall, no trace of the repair. He removed all of the outlet and switch plates along with the light fixtures to paint. He went the extra step of cleaning them up which involved removing both dirt and old paint globs, smears and drips. He sanded the smears of paint and dirt on doors, polyurethaned them with several coats and they look terrific! Lastly, he painted all the trim and walls, very carefully and cleanly. He did an exquisite job.
