So I did do that, agreeing to pay him for what he said was more than normal wear and tear. For a month with me calling, the service company emailing and calling, nothing was done and he wouldn't answer the phone or come out to finish the job. I had another plumber go out finally and it was fixed within 30 minutes. It wasn't what the plumber said he was going to have to do at all. It was just a small job and it was normal wear and tear. "
