DO NOT use Roto Rooter! I called Monday to set up an Appointment for Wednesday 12 to 4. Was told they were having a can drive and for donations you could save 75.00. Sounds Great. Wednesday comes....no tech. They kept calling to say they have no ETA. I call after 5 to be told they were still coming still no ETA. Since I had waited she would give me a 75.00 discount...I committed I was getting that for the food drive so she said she would give me a 100.00 total discount. Then they call at 7:15 to reschedule for Thursday...1st if the list. First huh. Kept calling no ETA then I call at 2 to be told they were on the way. The techs get there. They tell me that the dispatcher has no authority to give me a discount and the can drive was not longer in effect. I said I waited over 13 hours in two days to get NO discount! Oh we are authorized 25.00. It will be 176.00 to try the 1 st solution. OK. It works...10 minutes max and it is fixed. With the discount it would be 246.00 for the 10 minutes of work.

They are dis-honest, They are horrible.

Craig and John showed up on time and got right to it. They did the work right, explained the guarantee and even made sure I got the best discount I was eligible for. They cleaned the work site up spotlessly. This company is a little more than some others but after reading some of those reviews I am really glad I went with Roto-Rooter. No regrets.

I will not use them again. I am still trying to get them to adjust their charges. They overcharged us by $700 for work that they did not perform. I've gone through the BBB and am also waiting to hear from them. It was about 2 days later when the demolition team came to remove the contaminated material so I saw first hand what they did and did not do. They told BBB that they were going to adjust the amount to the customer's request. They have adjusted the amount before but it was not applicable to the work not done amount. I would not recommend them at all. The price was unreasonable. My son, who is in construction, when he saw the bill he said that the cost for demolition was more than the replacement of the new parts and he said that is unheard of. There were 2 different people, one guy came out to unclog the drain and another came out to remove the contaminated material. As far as unclogging the drain, they were punctual. As far as the demolition part, they were here about 20 minutes after they said they would be.

Had a clogged shower drain, called Roto-rooter for drain cleaning. After I was pushed back three times, "we'll be there this afternoon....well, we'll be there tomorrow morning....well, we'll be there the next day..." I cancelled all together and had another company get 'er done. I had used Roto-rooter for more than 15 years for all my plumbing issues, always pleased with their promptness, service and prices. What a shame, they have really gone down the drain as far as I'm concerned.

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services did a good job. They had to come back twice and they did not charge us for either of the two follow-up. And they did find what was wrong. One of the kids flushed a wipe down the drain and it was kinda hard to find but when they finally found it, everything cleared up.

The problem was solved in an effective and professional manner.

The man that was dispatched out on a Sunday, thank you, did not have the ability to scope the line to see where the block was. He's suggestion was to tear open my foundation wall and break open the pipe and go from there. He got an approved deal at $3,200.00 to do this. If he did this work, it still might not find the block. We asked if they had someone that could / would scope the line. He said said, ok I'll release my ticket and have a plumber come in. He seem miffed at having lost this job. Turns out we had another company come out and scope the line and release the block for $475.00. Much better.

Craig Wright was our Service Technician. We were extremely pleased his professionalism, courtesy, knowledge and attitude. He was friendly and kept us advised of exactly what he was doing and explained why it was necessary. He resolved our floor drain problem quickly and professionally. We would not hesitate to call Craig / Roto-Rooter again and would highly recommend them to our friends. Great job Craig!!

1. 1. Zach the tech showed up on time, shortly after putting in a phone request for service.
2. 2. Free inspection and diagnosis happened ... no problems or high pressure selling.

     I was imposing on his time.
5. Tech explained what to do and not do to diminish a future need for service.
6. Overall very professional, obviously competent, and friendly.
7. Tech accepted nominal tip since he took time to thoroughly explain some questions.

Daniel was outstanding, knowledgeable, and the consumate professional. Arrived promptly, was carefull to cover shoes while going up and down the carpeted stairs to work on an upper bathroom. Work was completed and explained in detail. I would use this firm and technicians like Daniel often.

Everything went very well. He was very careful bringing in the drain snake and very careful to protect our home and bathroom from spills or damage.  The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. Very courteous. Zach Silverberg was the technician and he was great! His tech number is 2703

Craig Wright has been servicing our home for years.  He is prompt, professional, and provides the best service around.  We tried another provider once, and will never do that again.  We will always use Roto Rooter, and will always request Craig. 

I called Roto Rooter at about 8:30 in the morning because the bathroom sink barely drained and the bathtub was also slowly draining. They gave me a four hour window for service but called me back and had a service technician available. Craig, the technician, arrived at about 9:15 and initially checked the main since I had told the dispatcher that that might be the problem. He determined that my main was ok and then checked the bathtub and sink. He cabled both drains and they now drain well. He was very professional and courteous. He also kept the area clean and even asked if he should put on booties before entering the house.
 I will ask for him if I have another issue.

The technician (3785) was extremely punctual, courteous and professional.  He worked quickly and completely cleaned up after the job, (he threw the roots in the trash, wiped up small water spills and moved the landscaping bark back to its original location).  He was absolutely terrific!

1. never use anyone but Roto-Rooter again. Told me right up front what the problem was and fixed it. Didn,t try to sugar coat or up sell. Gave me all of my options and did not high pressure me to do any thing extra. Bill treated me like I was the most imporant customer he ever had. Cleaned up his work space and made me feel at ease.

Sunday morning (July 5) we found out that the toilets in the basement backed-up and overflowed. Roto-Rooter came out that afternoon and cleared the back-up so we were able to use the toilets. The next day they came out to find out why we had a blockage. After that was found we set a date to have the sewer fixed. They scheduled one day but due to rain, and the hole collapsing in and other unforeseen issues, it took two full days. We now have a sewer system that works. A few days later the cleaning crew came out and cleaned our driveway and the street around the sewer hole. Everyone was extremely helpful and very nice.

Initial evaluation was done by very sharp master plumber, then did video inspection. All VERY professionally done. I was not expecting this type of service. Greatly exceeded my expectations.
