"Ryan was very attentive to my needs for this job and was always available to answer questions and provide information regarding the scheduling of the work. Victor and his crew did an excellent job with the carpentry and painting, and their attention to detail was very professional."

"Beautiful transformation of 37 year-old cabinets. Work was skilled and efficient, and demonstrated special attention to details that make a difference. Equally appreciated was the expert advice with color selection that not only saved the project, but perfected it. I would contract with William over and over and over."

Customers say: True professional

"H&M did a superior job on all of the interior paint on our new home. They came in the day after closing and worked to get the job done even during the holidays and all for a very fair price! I canâ t say enough about the results, willingness to work around our schedules (we were coordinating multiple services at the same time so that we were ready on move in day), and the awesome customer service! Thanks you guys - we will see you this spring for exterior paint ð ð »ð !"

"We chose Painting Plus over 3 other companies that we obtained quotes from. Not only was the quote reasonable, but the timing, the professionalism, the package deals of services offered was what made us decide on hiring Painting Plus. The two/three people crew that did our massive garage work was so impressive. Derrick, the rep that came out to quote us was so so kind. The crew member that did the work was also just as kind. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and dedication. Thank you! Highly recommend!"

"My deck was a total disaster and needed to be rescued. After Adam was done with his total makeover, I was blown away. The paint job that he did was impeccable. My deck looks new, larger and beautiful. From start to finish, I was extremely satisfied with the entire process. Kyle helped with the selection of paint and paint color that was necessary and appropriate to repair my deck. His scheduling was timely and his choice of Adam to get the job done was really commendable. Adam completed his work on schedule and was able to paint areas of my deck which I considered unreachable. What a treat it was to come home and see my finished deck totally made over. I am extremely happy with the finished product and would not hesitate to recommend Adam in the future."

"Paint Pals did an excellent job painting my house. My only issue is it took awhile to get there. Original crew that was sent to the house did a very rushed/sloppy job, even after returning the second time to repaint half the house it still looked pretty bad, painters stated that was the best they could do. After posting negative feedback online management became aware of the situation and acted quickly to remedy the issues. A more experienced crew came out and did an excellent job and now the house looks great."

"Our experience with NoCo Proline was great start to finish! When purchasing our house, we didn t realize just how little maintenance the previous owners did on the deck. Corey and his team completed an amazing job for an affordable price. I would recommend NoCo Proline to anyone!"

"We needed a couple small jobs for painting and Tony was able to help us. He painted a hallway that had some serious chipping paint and painted our kitchen ceiling and walls. His quality of work was outstanding and price was just right. I would highly recommend Tony."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Staining a deck is typically less expensive upfront than painting. The cost to stain a deck professionally averages around $850, with most homeowners paying between $550 and $1,250, depending on the deck's size. A DIY staining project can cost less than $100. The cost to paint a deck ranges from $500 to $2,000. While the initial cost of staining is lower, it's important to consider long-term expenses. Paint can last up to 10 years, whereas stain needs to be reapplied every few years, which could lead to higher costs over time.

Yes, pressure-treated wood can occasionally turn green due to certain preservatives, such as copper-based chemicals, used during the treatment process. These chemicals react with the wood, creating a greenish tint. The good news? It's temporary, and the color will fade over time. Staining or painting can also help hide any unwanted hues.

You may be wondering: can you paint cement? Fortunately, the answer is yes.

To change the color of your cinder blocks, you have two options. You can either paint them or stain them. Either way, you'll be able to choose from a wide range of color options. Some popular colors for cinder block painting include off-white shades and gray tones, which add a modern spin to the traditional gray blocks.

Whether you can paint over your existing paint depends on what’s on there. Most of the time, you’ll want to sand down or scrape off the paint that’s currently coating your surface. Epoxy paint, for example, won’t let new paint stick to the surface. Latex paint is more forgiving and will accept a new coat, but a primer is recommended if you’re switching colors.

The best paint for an older deck depends on the material and whether or not your deck already has a coat of paint. Generally, if your deck already has paint on it, you should choose the same type of paint when repainting the deck. For example, if an old deck has oil-based paint on it, stick with oil; if your deck has water-based paint, choose water-based paint.
