NowPresent Homes LLC
Their work was extremely good, and their communication from start to finish was a breadth of fresh air. They do not give the cheapest estimate, but they stuck to their estimate (which means they are actually ended up the cheapest). They've done work on my own residence and 8 of my rental houses including bathroom remodel, toilet replacement, shower insert replacement, upgrading carpet to luxury vinyl plank flooring (wowz!), kitchen flooring Interior painting, drain clearing, added two interior drywalled walls and doors, and a number of odds and ends. They won't do everything because they will only do what their expertise is in, so that means their work is fantastic. They saved the day after I hired TRC (Total Remodel Contractor), who kept not showing up at the job and left their work needing many repairs. Now Harmony and NPH are my go-to contractor, and I even have them working on my home right now while me and my family are away on vacation! Do yourself a favor and don't hire anyone besides them- you can thank me later
He got it cleaned out in no time, he also cleaned it all up, which he did not have to do!! That is going above and beyond!!! Good Job Casey!!!

"We are very impressed with Mighty Plumbing & Heating’s professionalism and quality work. They called us back immediately to set a service appointment for the next day. Their repairman, Mick, arrived on time, with the requisite COVID-19 precautions. He quickly and thoroughly assessed the status of our HVAC system and reviewed his findings with us (complete with photos). He was ready to maintenance our furnace but we concluded that our 20-year-old HVAC just needed to be replaced. Kevin, the owner, arrived soon thereafter and gave us a written bid. Looking at our utility closet we noticed that the whole house filter and hot water tank were also at the end of their useful life. We ordered their replacement and upgraded the hot water system to a tankless model. Kevin expanded their bid and accommodated our request. We accepted their proposal and they completed the HVAC installation the next day and the filter and tankless hot water system the following day. Their installers laid protective coverings over our carpet and when finished thoroughly cleaned up their work site. When they completed the installation the two installers, Jeremy and Zeke, explained the working of our new equipment, the warranty and how to operate it. They also answered all of our questions and encouraged us to call if something comes up. Excellent people to work with.

"Zach arrived right on time, and upon opening the furnace quickly noted that the flex pipe located inside the furnace was a major code violation. The home inspector had also noted this. Zach quickly went to work taking apart the various pieces of the gas line to make the flex connection outside of the burner area. He also added a hand shut-off valve as there was only a traditional wrench shutoff valve existing. He then cleaned and inspected the furnace and ensured that it was operating correctly.
<br /> Zach then went on the roof and inspected the Evap cooler, and made sure that it would run correctly. Throughout the whole process he provided tips for how to ensure that each piece of equipment would be properly maintained for the longest life. He even provided a very helpful tip on how to make our water heater last longer!
<br /> While Zach was at my house I also asked his opinion on a gas line that I couldn't figure out the function of. He gladly chased things out with me.
<br /> Finally I asked for an estimate on the cost of adding a gas line to convert our electric range in the kitchen to gas. He took a look at a few possibilities, suggested some reasonable ideas, and provided a very reasonable quote. Zach is awesome to work with!

"When I first called the company, we were unable to get them scheduled to come until a week after the call. The lower and quot;responsivenessand quot; score is because I felt that that was not as responsive as I have generally found other companies in getting work scheduled.
<br /> The individual from this company arrived on time and did repair our fireplace. My problem with this company is what they eventually charged us. This ended up being a simple repair, where a part was broken and needed to be replaced. First, they tripled the charges for the part. They left the packaging of the part and I looked it up on the internet (prices ranged from $25-30 but I was charged $75 for the part). Second, this repair could have been completed in an hour, but this guy made delay after delay to double the labor charges and stretch it to two hours. Once the part was identified, he told me the only place he could get the part was at a store way down by Fort Collins airport. He left and then after about 15 minutes he came back and said oh, maybe he might need to replace another part (no, he didn't need to do that) and he came back to get the part number. Then he left again and was gone about 45 minutes, and when he came back I watched him test and re-test and re-test the part that had already been identified as needing replacing (huh?), before he finally replaced it with the new part.
<br /> BTW, I found the part on the Home Depot website and altho I didn't check our local store to see if the part was there I am assuming it was there because it was listed on their website. Home Depot is a very short 1.5 miles away from our home. Don't understand why I had to pay $95/hour for this guy to drive way down to the Fort Collins airport to get a part that seems to be available at Home Depot just a short distance away. I think the two trips were excessive charges that we ended up having to pay for.
<br /> Isn't it amazing, but when he f-i-n-a-l-l-y finished it was two hours. I feel we were over-charged an hour of labor ($95) and overcharged for the part.
<br /> Also, BTW, after he wrote up the bill, he told me, oh by the way the pilot light and quot;auto lighterand quot; didn't work, and that if we needed to light the pilot light we would have to use a match. He showed me that the pilot light was supposed to automatically light from a button underneath the fireplace, but that the part didn't work. Not sure why he didn't repair this if he noticed it didn't work, but I surely wasn't going to have him do it and have to spend more money for him to drive down to the FC airport again for another part.
<br /> I am happy to pay reasonable charges for work done on our behalf, but I feel they basically doubled the and quot;reasonableand quot; cost for both the labor with totally unnecessary delays and the part by unreasonable uplift of the part (by tripling the actual cost).
<br /> I would not use them again.

"Patrick and Lanney were very professional, very upfront, and their work was very meticulous. They made sure that I approved of every step and that nothing was just thrown together. Also, their pricing on a Navient 240a2 tankless water heater and all labor was almost $2,000 less than the two other quotes I received. They also made sure that the quoted price did not change even though they had to bring in an electrician to install a new outlet plus add an additional piece of hardware. I would definitely use them again and would suggest anyone else trust them as well.
Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.
How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?
Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.
How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?
Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.
Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?
Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.
How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?
Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.
Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?
Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
