"Habib is seriously the most thorough professional we have ever had! He expertly explained the new AC/furnace system to us so we knew precisely how the system worked, before he installed anything. He was so considerate and enthusiastic and he loves helping his customers. Our A/C unit worked so well and I know our brand new furnace will be great this winter. If I could give him 10 stars I would because he was so knowledgeable and conscientious!"

Full-service contractor specializing in emergency services, fire, and water restoration. We are a partner for commercial and residential property owners and insurance carriers. What can we help you with?

"They were referred by my insurance company to repair water damage. If they had the option to do it right or take a short cut, they always take the short cut. I was out of town when they did the repairs, they were supposed to repair the subfloor and tear out the old flooring before installing the new flooring. I pointed out the problem with the subfloor during the estimate and before the work started. They forgot to add it to the insurance claim. I was told they would go back and ask to add the subfloor. I was also told they would finish the Friday before I returned to town. When I returned, the did not want to go back to the insurance company so they put leveler down and put the new floor on top. when I returned my refrigerator was out from the cabinets because it was too tall now to fit. They did not score any or the trim so the paint was ripped through out my home. the trim on the back door was at an angle, they had not removed the original nails from the wall, several of the new nails in the trim were bent over into the trim. There was a thick layer of saw dust through out the home. I could go on with all the things they did poorly. They are lazy, they never communicate. If someone goes on vacation no one else covers for them. No supervision, integrity. I was the only quality control aspect to the job. I would never let them set foot on one my properties again."

Currently, Surface Link is the Certified Warranty Inspection and Repair Service Agent for several manufacturers throughout the country, such as DuPont Corian, DuPont Zodiaq, LG Hausys HI-MACS, LG Hausys Viatera, Formica Solid Surface, LivingStone, Caesarstone, Gemstone and many more . Our goal is to help to restore your countertop back to its original condition. Why replace your countertop? Surface Link can repair it for a fraction of the cost!

"It took a lot of phone tag to finally get the technician to our house, but once here he was efficient and professional and did an amazing job. The chip was in the edge of a white quartz countertop, very difficult to match perfectly, and the repair is absolutely invisible. Not the lowest bid, but worth the price."

At BPG, we believe home inspections shouldn't end at the driveway. Our inspectors and engineers undergo thorough background checks and must meet ongoing training and performance standards -- they are a selective group of professionals. With so many inspection companies to choose from, how do you select one that fits your needs? We've earned a solid reputation for standing behind our work and providing distinct value advantages that help protect our clients.

"BPG Inspections Failed to Honor Their Guarantee or Take Accountability Summary: In my experience, BPG Inspections failed to uphold their guarantee, and I encountered poor follow-up and vague, shifting justifications for denying my claim. Details: I hired BPG Inspections in Pensacola, FL, to inspect a home I purchased in April. The inspection occurred in March, and I moved in during May. Within a few days of moving in – well within the 90-day warranty period – I discovered two issues that the inspection report had explicitly marked as functional: 1. The garbage disposal unit did not work (it made a soft noise but did not function). 2. The HVAC system failed to deliver air to the kitchen and adjacent bedroom, though the inspection report had indicated the air handling was operational and in good condition. I promptly emailed BPG about these problems, and while the inspector initially responded, I was then passed to their claims department. After repeated follow-ups, I finally received a call on June 23rd – nearly a month after reporting the issue – only to be told that neither issue was covered under their warranty. I raised the following concerns: 1. For the HVAC, the inspector had confirmed it was functional in an email, contradicting the claims department's later justification that it could not be tested. If no air reaches two rooms, it should have been evident during either heating or cooling tests – this was missed. 2. For the garbage disposal, I was told it was a "kitchen appliance" and therefore not covered, despite it being a fixture included in inspections. When I asked where the warranty excluded it, I received inconsistent explanations. At no point did the company offer to re-inspect or further investigate these issues. I expected more accountability from a professional inspection service – especially one offering a guarantee."

Home Warranties questions, answered by experts

Whether a hot water heater warranty transfers to a new owner depends on the terms and conditions of your specific warranty. However, in most cases, the warranty is not transferable. If the terms of your warranty are unclear, you should reach out to the manufacturer directly for an answer.

Yes, often using a professional installer ensures compliance with warranty terms.

Before you replace your windows, check your home warranty. Many home warranties don’t cover windows at all, while some have specific clauses about what they will and will not cover and what might void the warranty. If you have any questions, reach out to your insurance specialist, and never make assumptions.

Most home warranties exclude aesthetic damage, pre-existing issues, intentional damage, and issues that stem from a lack of proper maintenance. Home warranty companies also have contract terms that can exclude specific types of HVAC systems or certain components of an appliance or home system, so you should read your contract in its entirety to make sure you understand your coverage before signing up.

Homeowner’s insurance will usually cover damages caused by contractors, but it won’t cover repairs if a contractor does poor work. If a contractor completes a job and you’re unhappy with the results, your best option is to have a civil conversation with the contractor about the issues. Reputable professionals may be willing to address your concerns at no additional cost or work out another resolution.
