They were referred by my insurance company to repair water damage. If they had the option to do it right or take a short cut, they always take the short cut. I was out of town when they did the repairs, they were supposed to repair the subfloor and tear out the old flooring before installing the new flooring. I pointed out the problem with the subfloor during the estimate and before the work started. They forgot to add it to the insurance claim. I was told they would go back and ask to add the subfloor. I was also told they would finish the Friday before I returned to town. When I returned, the did not want to go back to the insurance company so they put leveler down and put the new floor on top. when I returned my refrigerator was out from the cabinets because it was too tall now to fit. They did not score any or the trim so the paint was ripped through out my home. the trim on the back door was at an angle, they had not removed the original nails from the wall, several of the new nails in the trim were bent over into the trim. There was a thick layer of saw dust through out the home. I could go on with all the things they did poorly. They are lazy, they never communicate. If someone goes on vacation no one else covers for them. No supervision, integrity. I was the only quality control aspect to the job. I would never let them set foot on one my properties again.

RUI, and specifically the project manager Ryan, did a fantastic job. they listened to my ideas, kept me updated on general plans, answered my questions and much more after a fire destroyed my home. They are also a preferred provider for my insurance, and I know why as their craftmanship is beautiful.

Called Repairs Unlimited the day after the sump pump discharge pipe ruptured in the finished ceiling above the bed. Power Dry had already removed damaged sheet rock, insulation, and carpet. Ryan Steen came over a few days later and agreed to make the repairs, even though I was in a dispute with insurance company over the payment for repairs (eventually they did pay a portion). Scheduled the work for about 3 weeks later. Joe Courtney was project manager and his crew of 2 people finished the work in a week (except for carpet). Joe coordinated the carpet installation with A&M Carpeting. After carpet was installed, Joe's crew came back to finish up small things and move furniture back into the room. Overall we are highly satisfied with the quality of the work, professionalism of Joe and the workers, and the overall experience with Repairs Unlimited.

I couldn't have asked for a more smooth or professional experience. From Craig Conner coming to my home to do the estimate and overseeing the project to Sean doing the actual remodeling work, the project was done beautifully. Sean and his helper came on time everyday and worked diligently and were very respectful of my husband being at home working. The tile work is perfect and Sean and Craig addressed my every concern immediately. When the project was finished the area was cleaned up and left the way they found it. After looking at several contractors on Angie's List I am pleased that I chose Repairs Unlimited. I already have them booked for another job!!!!

Brandon Smith of Repairs Unlimited has been wonderful to work with. He did everything I asked him to do and didn't do the things I asked him not to do (as I contracted some of the work out to my previously established vendors.) He adjusted the contract more than once as the scope of the project changed according to my wishes. Brandon was completely professional, prompt in contacting me and reassuring about the outcome. In the future, I would absolutely call Repairs Unlimited again, in fact I would ONLY call them.

Kevin and his team of Eric, Chris and Casey first quoted us six months to rebuild the house which was almost a total lose. They had it completed in four months. There were many problems due to an old part of the house being cement block and we changed it from a three bedroom one bath to a two bedroom one and a half bath. Every obstacle they came up against was handled with innovative solutions and the new house is wonderful. They went above and beyond what they needed to do. If I could rate them higher than an A I would. Nobody should ever hesitate to use Kevin Fiddelke and his team at Repairs Unlimited. By the way, Allstate Insurance was wonderful also.

First, the demo was done on time. The walls were plaster. Great effort was made to make schedules. I opted, as,many people do, to do some extra improvements at my expense. This contractor is very familiar with building codes and when to call for inspections. This contractor is also skilled at dealing with insurance companies. All the paperwork was flawless. All the workmanship was also flawless. Being burned out of your house is traumatic. These fellows made it as painless as possible. The entire project was finished on time, including the extras that I ordered. When they were done, i had beautiful, code compliant home. highly recommend this company.

I had some water damage and my Insurance Company recommended Repairs Unlimited. They were fantastic. Those guys are just wonderful. They did the Insurance work, but I had them do some extra work for me, and they were great. They left everything clean and they were just helpful. I recommended them to one of my girlfriends, and I'm going to have them come back again because I want to see if they can put a fluorescent light up over my computer. They had to dry the walls and sort out the drywall and re-lay carpet. I also had them fix my side door. I would give them the highest grade I could get: A+++++++. It took a while because they had to let everything dry. If they were going to be late they would ring to let me know, they cleaned up - I was just very very impressed.

The door leading from my house to the garage had been broken into. They came out the same day that I called them to secure the door until it could be repaired.

MY HUSBAND HAD TO SAY THAT HE DID OUR PLUMBING IN ORDER TO PULL A PERMIT AND GET IT INSPECTED. THIS IS WHEN WE LEARNED OF THE STRUCTURAL ISSUES. REPAIRS UNLIMITED PROBABLY SPENT TWICE THE AMOUNT THAT WE PAID THEM TO HIRE A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER AND FIX THE ERRORS. UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NOT ENOUGH ROOM TO TELL THE WHOLE STORY-BUT WE LIVED WITHOUT OR BATHROOM OR A KITCHEN FOR ALMOST A YEAR DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE, LACK OF CONCERN AND REGARD FOR CITY ORDINANCES. ONLY UNDER THREAT OF SUING, PRESSURE FROM OUR INSURANCE COMPANY, ETC..., WERE WE ABLE TO GET THEM TO MAKE IT RIGHT. NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE HIRED SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THE CONSTRUCTION WORK. IT IS MY OPINION THAT NO-ONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD HIRE THEM. THEY STILL EMPLOY THE SAME PLUMBER WHO IS STILL IS NOT A LICENSED PLUMBER IN KANSAS CITY, MO.

THEY PUT THE ROOF ON IN A TIMELY MANNER, BUT THEY MESSED UP IN AREAS. WHEN ASKED THEM TO FIX THE AREAS THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WOULD NOT TELL OTHERS TO USE THEM.
