" I scheduled the second half of a repair [ball bearing] to my Maytag ; it had been delayed by 9 weeks by my cancer diagnosis and chemo. I was assured in a text that my written [I have a copy] estimate was saved in their computer system. The next day the tech arrived, took the back off my washer, took pictures with his cell phone, told me ?it needed a ball bearing and then everything would work fine,? and left. He was in my apartment no more than 20 minutes. He did absolutely nothing to complete the repair. I called W-M and was transferred to Alex. Alex said he ?would look at the pictures? and try and decide if W-M could do the repair for the amount quoted in my written estimate. Seriously? You are going to try and decide if you can be as good as your word? Alex said he would call me back. He didn?t. I have open wounds from chemo and no way to keep my clothes clean."

We have been in business for over 27 years and are Nastec and NATE certified. We do over 20,000 service calls per year and about 50% of those are from repeat and referral business. A couple of reasons for that are: we GET OUT the SAME DAY and we have our own training facility where our techs are kept up to date on all the industry changes and not necessarily on your equipment. We are master plumbers, master electricians, and an HVAC company so if you have any needs in these areas let us know.
"? Beware: Total Rip-Off and Incompetent Service ? I would give zero stars if I could. Do NOT use Action Appliance. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and completely incompetent. I called them to fix my refrigerator, which should have been a straightforward repair. They quoted me $3,000 "by job" ? their words ? to fix everything wrong with it. I figured, for that much money, it should be running like brand new. Fast forward: they?ve been to my house THREE times, and guess what? The refrigerator still doesn?t work. Now they have the audacity to tell me there are ?additional issues? and want to charge me another 500 to "fix it correctly." Let me be clear: $3,000 should have covered everything. That was the whole point of the "by job" quote. Finding more problems after the fact and demanding more money is nothing short of highway robbery. Either they don't know what they're doing, or they're stringing customers along to bleed them dry. Probably both. Stay far away from Action Appliance"
