She also made a trip out to meet with our second insurance adjuster because our first was blind to the damage. We had other quotes and no one else had mentioned the hail damage. Oscar and his crew were very professional. They repaired some damaged wood, primed, and painted my home and stained my fence. I learned from reading reviews of painting in general that you should make sure you look at everything. That made sense to me. So when it was time for the walkthrough I was very thorough. They touched up, or fixed etc. everything that I brought to their attention. We then did a second walkthrough to make sure everything was done that was found in the first walkthrough. "I ran out of time on a 20 x 20 foot room renovation. I had purchased, stained and painted baseboard molding and crown moulding for the room which has a vaulted ceiling from 7' to 14'. My work schedule and the delivery and installation schedule for carpet forced me to call handyman connection because no one else could fit the job in on my timeline due to the upcoming holiday. I wanted it done before the carpet install. Handyman connection responded quickly. They explained the cost structure and used a CC over the phone. The worker was prompt. The quality of the work was very good. He was professional and courteous. He needed a second worker to complete the vaulted ceiling crown molding. They did a very good job. The cost was on the high side, but my research tells me that it was not unreasonable compared to norms. I would use them again under similar circumstances when I cannot wait for my usual, busy general contractor with whom I have built a mutually trusting relationship.
