I contacted O'Leary and Son's after getting exorbitant quotes from five other deck builders from around town. Tim O'Leary was courteous and helped explain the various steps involved and quoted a price that was far below the other companies I had contact. The builders Lloyd and Brian did a fantastic job on the deck and we're very kind and professional. I feel a thousand times safer on my new deck and look forward to years of enjoyment in my new favorite place to relax. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to rebuild their dilapidated and rotting deck. They were a godsend.

Tim's assigned crew of Dana (sp?) and Colton were dedicated and hard working and the results of their attention to detail are evident. They were always polite and explained in detail what they were doing. The final results are a new deck that looks absolutely awesome. We love the new deck! I would highly recommend O'Leary & Sons for any deck work needed.

I wanted to preserve the color of the new redwood deck but protect it from the elements. I did get conflicting advice from the provider and Sherwin-Williams. I wasn't really happy with the color of the stain and felt that it was not applied as well as it could be. I should have done a little more research.
 

The O?Leary Brothers? built a 700 square foot deck for me.

Their estimate was very reasonable in comparison with the other three estimates I received.

The contract I signed with them was very detailed.   The contract specified the quality of lumber, the screws and hangers.    It is important the different components of the deck match each other.  It specified the starting date, the estimated completion date and the schedule of payments.

They are licensed to build decks.   They took care of obtaining the necessary permits.

They had their insurance agent email me proof of insurance as well as proof that their employees were covered by workmen?s compensation.  You do not want someone working on your property without proof of insurance and workmen?s compensation.

They were very personable and kept me informed as to exactly what they were doing.

They started the construction of the deck on time and completed the deck in the most efficient time possible. 

I am very pleased with their quality of work and I recommend them without reservation.

O'Leary and Sons had done work for us previously. Your front and back decks had really begun to show weathering and use. O'Leary first power washed and cleaned both decks. After allowing three days to dry, they applied a sealing agent. The decks haven't looked this good in years. O'Leary's are a pleasure to work with and we'll use them in the future. We recommend them highly.

The contact communications was somewhat slow. Having worked over 30yrs as a communications specialist I like to receive responses as soon as possible or at least acknowledgement of receipt of my e-mails or phone calls. We finally settled on a price and date of work. However, the provider suddenly showed up earlier than scheduled; luckily we had just arrived from out of town. We agreed to go ahead with the early schedule. The work was performed speedily. The quality of the work looked good. The work area was cleaned up.

This job was part of a smoke remediation claim resulting from the Waldo Canyon fire. The O'Learys were prompt, professional, and courteous. They did a high quality job, quickly. I will use them in the future for my deck maintenance needs.
My cost is giving as $0 since this was a subcontracted job and I did not pay O'Leary and Sons directly.
