Joe was excellent. He explained the work to be done, as well as the warranties for the different types of paint. He was very responsive to all our calls. If he wasn't available at the time of our call, he returned the call promptly. The crew that did the work was very professional. The crew performed all tasks as outlined in the contract. The crew cleaned up everything each day. I was nervous about the plants and trees the crew would have to work around, but there was no problem. Dave's crew did a fantastic job!

My wife and I simply wanted to hire a professional company to paint our home and were willing to pay a good price to have it done. We decided to call the Paint Doctor and after hearing the owner and sales representative Brian Wooldridge’s convincing presentation complete with statements of high profile customers, promises of professional master painters, detailed preparation, and a warrantied paint job that we would be more than happy with for years to come, complete with a promised personal Mr. Wooldridge final walk-through, we signed a contract. We even paid extra for the best paint. Sadly Mr. Wooldridge and his company did not honor the contract. In retrospect, it was evident from the start, the preparation and paint crew was not even given a work order nor had any detailed knowledge of the work that needed to be done as promised in our contract. Though we were initially told by Mr. Wooldridge our project would take 4 to 5 days, at the end of the second day we found out they had completed the entire job. We then pointed out the prep was incomplete and the stucco cracks were still evident. Slapstick patchwork followed briefly the next day and they stated they were done. After a couple of weeks of sitting in discontent of their work we decided to call Brian Wooldridge to express our dissatisfaction. He came out and acknowledged the work had not been performed as per contract. And after taking pictures and making notes Mr. Wooldridge stated they would make the necessary corrections. So here we are now with the Paint Doctor not showing up for 3 scheduled appointments, a contract that is not being honored, work not completed to include lack of preparation, cracks in our stucco, paint peeling on our foundation, seal trim around doors not corrected, and a stain coming through what we were told would be two coats of special paint. All the painting was completed in one day despite the instructions on the paint container stating to wait at least 24 hours between coats. And now despite our repeated attempts to correct this situation, Mr. Wooldridge, and his secretary Rhonda, are not returning our phone calls. The work and behavior displayed by Mr. Brian Wooldridge, his company the Paint Doctor, his secretary Rhonda, and paint crew, are completely counter to what we were promised in a signed contract, at which point now he has chosen not to honor.

"The Paint Doctor was unaware that the work was not completed. We sent the crew out there on the day it was scheduled and we never heard back from the customer. We assumed everything is finished. The customer has not contacted The Paint Doctor through the office or through email or to Brian directly. We will get our painters out there right away to take care of any issues that the homeowner has. Also, when the Paint Doctor painted the stucco it was sprayed and back rolled and did not need to wait 24 hours. That is the correct procedure to do stucco. The Paint Doctor has been in business for over 30 years. We have the top rated painter in the front range for the past 30 years having over ten of thousands of satisfied customers. We always hope every job goes perfectly but we cannot fix the problem is we do not know there is an issue. Thank you, Brian Wooldridge"

Joe came out to do a bid on pressure washing, staining and painting our home outside of Woodland Park. He gave us an honest and fair bid using Messmer’s Exterior oil based stain. David and his crew came up 2 weeks later and did an amazing job of pressure washing the house and repairing holes/cracks on siding & trim boards. A few days later they were back masking the windows and started staining. Total of 3 days to do staining and painting trim and garage door. They cleaned up all masking materials and our home looks amazing!

Paint Doctor did a terrible job. The mobile home needed painted after my father passed. It had the typical wall paper on the kitchen walls. I was told by the estimater Bryan that the painter would prim the walls first, he did not so some of the print bled through. I also instructed on my contract that I wanted satin paint which they used egg shell. They had sherwin williams rep tell me there was no difference which there is a difference in durability and shine. They did not want to come back and honor the contract. They did however come back the next day and paint some of the bleed through but if they would have done it right the first time they would not have to of come back. They were very sloppy in their painting and clean up. Never got a follow up call from Bryan either after my concerns or to see if the I was satisfied. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

FIVE STARS! We had a custom stone fireplace project that turned out amazing. We ended up doing a stain and faux finish and the stone looks completely natural like it was here all along. They did a great job! They were timely, reasonably priced, and did quality work. Our 20 year old house hadn't been painted since it was built. They pressure washed, cleaned, caulked, scraped and painted. It looks like a brand new house! They were extremely quick and efficient, even in the dead of winter with unpredictable weather. Very professional and took the time to walk through with us and make sure every single detail was perfect and how we wanted it. Cheapest quote we got by a long shot and the job they did is incredible. Highly highly recommend!!

After getting bids from 6 other paint companies (from big names to mom-n-pops), I decided to get one last bid when I received a flier in the mail. Brian and his team were very communicative, easy to work with, and, above all, did everything within their power to make sure we were happy. I've gotta say, they did a stellar job at an excellent price.

It went great. My contact was Joe who was great to work with from start to finish. The job entailed preparing the existing tape and bed on the garage walls and ceiling to minimize show through, priming the whole garage and then applying two coats of paint. I had decided that I did not want to pay for extensive tape and bed touch-up work to insure no show-thru so preparing the existing tape and bed was very important to me. Joe quoted me a price which was higher than some of the other bids I had but Joe did his best to get the price down as low as possible. They needed to keep their crews working so I think I got the bare minimum price which I greatly appreciated. There were other bidders in the same price range but Joe's knowledge and responsiveness tipped the scale in his favor. A challenging point that I had to work through involved how much show-thru would exist. I was willing to accept a degree of show-thru but arriving at a mutual agreement with the Paint Doctor was a challenge. But Joe came through for me. I showed him some pictures of a garage that had been painted by another bidder that clearly showed the show thru. Joe told my job would look as good or better. That was good enough for me. I signed on with the Paint Doctor to paint the garage and I am so glad that I did. It came out just as expected. Joe advised me in selecting the paint which was also greatly appreciated. The crew that came out to do the work, David and his daughter Anna, was also great to work with. They did their very best to deliver a job satisfactory to me, and they did it. The resulting job looks great. There is show thru but no more than what I expected. When the work was being done, David really laid down the primer (7-gallons) and then two heavy coats of paint. As it turned out considerably more primer was used than estimated so I offered pay for the additional primer which Joe did not intend to mention. But I volunteered since it was the right thing to do. This illustrates how honorable The Paint Doctor is. All things consider, I could not have gotten a better paint job. If you need painting, interior or exterior, call The Paint Doctor … and ask for Joe.

The Paint Doctor was very professional and was very responsive to all our needs and concerns. From the very beginning to the end of the project, everyone involved from the owner/estimator, secretary, and painter, were very polite, very accommodating and the few concerns (there were some but I can't even remember because they were so minimal) were addressed and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The job looks beautiful, good warranties, and in a time when everyone is trying to gouge you, they had a very fair price for a great job. I would recommend them to anyone. Of the contractor's we had come out to give us a bid on the painting, I was sure The Paint Doctor would be the highest bid. Surprisingly, not! In fact, the experience from beginning to end was top notch. Joe, the estimator, was very friendly and gave us many choices on the kind of Sherwin Williams paint to choose from. After he inspected the house, he went to his car & put the whole proposal together for us. We were concerned about our metal barrel shingles and being sure the painter would know where to step in order not to dent the shingles. Joe assured us that their painters were familiar with this type of shingle and there would be not problem. Martin did everything from the power washing to causing, painting and staining. He did an excellent job and you could tell he took pride in his work. We are happy to recommend The Paint Doctor to anyone and felt the pricing was excellent.

The Paint Doctor painted our exterior home and shed. Between power washing, prep, and paint, it was only 3 days total of work (with some days between washing and prep.) The crew was professional and did a great job! Joe was very available for questions and other communications. The quoted price was excellent and was more affordable than we expected. Overall, we're very happy with both the experience and result!

We got 4 other quotes for getting our house painted, and ended up choosing the Paint Doctor. They don't have a huge painting team or marketing team, and their quotes came in the lowest (by FAR). We weren't concerned about having our house finished in three days, and did not like the idea that part of our cost would be paying for a marketing team (one of the competitor companies STILL calls me about once a month to see if I am interested after telling them "no" a year ago). After our initial consultation, Chad showed up to start cleaning and prepping our house. He was meticulous and methodical, and took his time. We thought our house was in "okay" shape, but he spent countless hours examining and prepping/caulking every surface of our house. The painting process was pretty standard. It wasn't a "three day in and out process", but we didn't expect that, or mind. We knew we weren't paying for a team of 5-7 painters. The best part of the Paint Doctors? Chad spent HOURS going over every single surface of our house with us, making sure we didn't see ANY imperfection. Chad said "three sets of eyes are better that one". We really appreciated him spending all the time with us making sure everything was absolutely perfect. Chad is professional and smart, and has a great sense of humor. Several of our neighbors have stopped by and admired their work, and we full heartedly recommend the Paint Doctors to everybody.

The Paint Doctor painted the entire interior of our house as we prepared it to be sold, the end result turned out very nice. We had had several bids and the Paint Doctor 's was reasonable.
