Small jobs welcome

"Fibers Insulation was extremely professional right from the first call. I chose their service from Angie’s Lust and within minutes Geovany responded. He came out on a Saturday to provide a quote and followed up days later. Members of the company were here at the designated time and did a stellar job! I insulated my garage to add better barrier for my garage to enhance a new AC unit to offset summer heat. Geovany followed up after the installation to ensure all went well. To ensure a better look, taping will be added to keep it looking great. I will recommend them to others in my gated community as I am very pleased with the result."

"I hired Attic Masters to do an energy efficiency job at my house. The job included work in the attic, crawlspaces and major insulation at the garage. I’m happy with the overall service that I got from Adam and his company Attic Masters. The first consultation meeting was very productive and honest than the other companies that I met. I felt very secure with Adam's knowledge and the quality of his initial assessment. The overall work got increased as i decided that I wanted to do more work than originally planned. All the people that worked at my house (total of 3) were cooperative and the project rolled out easily. Adam did a wonderful amount of research about some things that were not usual. I wanted new insulation, new walls and more efficiency. After all the research that Adam did and the consultation he provided me with, we moved forward with the agreed upon plan and it was executed well. Adam and his team were willing to come over as needed for small finishing touches, questions, and more... He definitely went above and beyond on multiple occasions."

"We noticed that some of the ducts are open and leaking air. We contacted several companies but at the end, we decided to hire this company. The price was right to us and they could do it the same week.
The work was completed the same day and they 2 workers that came over, were nice to us and didn't try to sell us anything else.
We appreciate the work and the fast service.

"I can't edit previous review so posting new one: I am revising my previous review. After posting my first review, Danny in Customer Service at Home Comfort USA contacted me. Danny very patiently listened to my situation and frustration and told me he would look into it, but wouldn’t “leave me hanging” and would call back. He did call back and fast-tracked a HVAC technician, Jad, to come out, who was great and called in a higher-level technician two days later. Then the higher-level technician came out a couple of days after that and found we did need a leaking core replaced and said Danny would call me. Danny did call me and went above and beyond to get the part replaced under the manufacturer’s warranty. Two days after that, Home Comfort USA came out, replaced the core, tested our HVAC, and mitigated the labor. We are now VERY happy customers with Home Comfort USA and very grateful for Danny’s great customer service and intervention. I am writing this review on a day in the mid-90s with our HVAC system keeping us VERY comfortable. Thank you."

"I did research for a good construction company for a several weeks because in the past, I had a bad experience. I read so many reviews for lots of companies near my area. And I came across Best builders group and what I read about them was enough for me to decide and contact them. I was in contact with Sofia from the office within the hour via the phone. Sofia was very nice to me and she was able to give me based information about them and I asked to schedule a meeting with Zohar. When I met him, I explained him my needs and requirements for construction, which was constructing a new half bath. Zohar not only said they could do it the way I want but could do it exactly how I wanted. I originally wanted a half bath near the stairs at my house. I scheduled a second meeting with Zohar to come out again and present me his estimate with his design of how the new bathroom will look like. After the second meeting, and after showing me his design, he presented to me a second design where he converted the bathroom into a full bathroom with a standing shower that maximized much better the space. While it would cost a more but it was not a suggestion that Zohar pushed me to do. I told him that I would think about it and let him know the same week. After having several additional contractors to come and give me their estimates as well. I decided that Best builders group was a better fit for my remodeling project. In addition, I decided to go with his suggestion for the full bath because it made a lot of more sense what he said. In doing so I needed more space and that required the laundry room being moved as part of it. With such a big job in my head I thought that would be expensive but Zohar assured it would not be and he came through with that assurance. Best builders group was one of the most competitive construction companies based on my research. Throughout the process of the remodeling, it was great and hassle free (almost). I went with Zohar and we picked out the lighting, vanity, toilet, flooring and paint. It all came together very beautifully. Zohar was amazing during the work at my house, he have great amount of energy and he gives off and very positive. More than that, when I needed him, he was there for me and I was able to get in touch with him. He makes time around your schedule to meet with you. The people that working for him were nice as well, respectful and clean. They make sure they clean up or straighten up on a daily basis. When all said and done, the only thing you have to supply on your own is the toilet paper and paint. They think of everything that you may need. I would and will recommend Best builders group to family and friends. I'm thinking of even updating my other bathroom soon."

"At this point, i can recommend this company in case you need to have someone professional, reliable and not expensive to work at your attic in case you will have any issues there. This company came over and replaced the insulation due to several problems that i had there.
Their price was good too and they came to my house in the time frame that was set ahead of time by their office.

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Expect your home insulation project to take between five and 12 hours to complete on average for batts or boards and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. It might take longer if you need to remove your home’s existing insulation, you have a higher-than-average square footage, or accessibility is limited.

Most homeowners installing blown-in insulation as a one-off DIY project should simply rent a blower. They tend to be very heavy, and contractor-grade machines can cost $13,000 to $16,000.

The R-value is a rating that measures an insulation's thermal resistance—in other words, how well it insulates. A higher R-value provides more protection for your pipes, and all pipe insulation materials should have an R-value listed on the product description or label. Each insulation type has its own R-value, which typically falls between one and five for most pipe insulation. When making a selection, Energy.gov recommends choosing a pipe wrap that is at least one inch thick, and the International Code Council (ICC) suggests choosing a material with an R-value of at least 3.

A vapor barrier keeps moisture out of the crawl space, while insulation reduces the amount of unconditioned air—and sometimes moisture—that enters the space. Coupling a vapor barrier with insulation can help prevent humidity and related moisture damage in a crawl space while also making your home more energy-efficient. Just be sure to use insulation that won’t get damaged from moisture, like rigid foam board or expanding spray foam insulation.
