"We noticed that some of the ducts are open and leaking air. We contacted several companies but at the end, we decided to hire this company. The price was right to us and they could do it the same week.
The work was completed the same day and they 2 workers that came over, were nice to us and didn't try to sell us anything else.
We appreciate the work and the fast service.

"We just completed our remodeling project with Best Builders Group and it was a great experience overall. We added a master suite (appx 350 sq. ft.) to our house. We got several estimates from several construction companies and we decided to hire Best Builders Group for that because of their big experience in design, great price and great approach. The addition project was not simple at all but Zohar handled each stage of the work very productive and he always kept us up to date about the entire progress. His design was a huge advantage and it was the main thing that we couldn’t fins in the other ones. Our bathroom addition is definitely stunning and it’s our favorite part at the house now. Zohar also recommended to have a tile wall and floor tile that made the bathroom a beautiful one! More than that, he was very hard working worked extra hours because of our long schedules. Zohar and his professional crew were very respectful of our time and space. Overall, we are excited with the addition and thankful to Zohar and Best Builders group."

"At this point, i can recommend this company in case you need to have someone professional, reliable and not expensive to work at your attic in case you will have any issues there. This company came over and replaced the insulation due to several problems that i had there.
Their price was good too and they came to my house in the time frame that was set ahead of time by their office.

"I cannot give GF construction enough praise. I scouted hard for a general contractor reaching out to friends who had gotten work done recently. GoodFellas Construction was mentioned more than once on various sits. Their reviews were excellent so I decided to go with them. During my estimate they worked with us to get the most done within our budget. There were no hidden costs and  we were able to complete the job on time.

"Jim is amazing. We needed new windows for the bedrooms - the old ones were original from 1949 and no longer closed! Jim came over and helped walk me through the options. He also did a quick assessment of other areas where we might be losing energy efficiency and offered multiple solutions (some of which he suggested I could even do myself). The new windows are beautiful and keep the cold air out!! When I'm ready to order more for the other areas of the house and to insulate our walls, I will be sure to call Jim. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and believes in his work. It shows! Thanks Jim and Healthy Homes 4 U!

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Ductwork should be wrapped in insulation in certain locations. This includes unconditioned interior parts of the home, such as attics, crawl spaces, basement ceilings, and between floors. Duct joints should also be insulated since they're more likely to leak air than other parts of your system. Building codes in some areas also require ductwork to be insulated.

Yes, exposure to fiberglass insulation can cause harm to your skin and eyes. However, this typically refers to the fiberglass insulation that is mostly used in walls and attics. Fiberglass doors don’t pose risks for fiberglass exposure because they're fully encased in polymer cladding.

The cost to install a radiant barrier ranges from $700 to $2,800, depending on the size of your roof and the type you choose. Most people pay an average of $1,700 to install a radiant barrier. Foil options, both single- and double-sided, cost between $0.10 and $0.90 per square foot, while spray-on options start at $0.60 and go all the way up to $1 per square foot—which can add up quickly.

A plastic vapor barrier should completely cover your basement to prevent water from penetrating through the walls. This typically goes before installing insulation to prevent moisture from building up and becoming trapped on the inside of your insulation, where it can collect and lead to mold damage. Installing insulation after the vapor barrier allows for any moisture to exit the walls for better ventilation.

When doing any type of project involving mold, it's important to wear the right protective gear. You'll want an N-95 or KN-95 mask to keep yourself from inhaling mold spores, which can be irritating or trigger an allergic reaction in people with weakened immune systems. You'll also want to wear protective eyewear and gloves to limit your contact with mold.
