"Scott was very personable and worked out a good schedule for the cleanings, as I was expecting guests. The price was fair, although he said it was the "old" price, so not sure if it will be much higher next time, we'll see. I would not want it to be more expensive. Did a great job - my wool rugs got a new lease on life. I will have him come back for my whits couch when my guests leave!"

"They are wonderful. I also refer them out multiple times. I have been using them for a long time. They do a great job cleaning and always flexible on timing. They do both the move in cleaning with windows cleaning carpets etc and the regular cleaning that is needed. Anyone that chooses to go with them will be very happy. I referred them recently to a client and they were very satisfied with their service as well."

"A lot of the dirt got onto some of the outdoor furniture that we had, you know, when he cleaned the gutter. So I had to wash all that down. I thought maybe he would have done that, but he didn't. But that's it. Otherwise, everything was great!"

House Cleaning questions, answered by experts

A standard professional cleaning of an entire apartment typically takes 2 to 3 hours. However, the timing varies depending on the size of the apartment, the number of people and pets that live in it, and how frequently it is cleaned. A deep cleaning typically takes 4 to 6 hours.

No, you should never use isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to clean flat paint or paint with any other finish. Isopropyl alcohol works similarly to a paint thinner, so it’s likely to liquify the paint on your walls and leave damaged or bare areas. For stubborn stains, try mixing one cup of vinegar or baking soda into a bucket of warm water and scrubbing very gently with a soft sponge. If the stain or soiling is pervasive, touch up the area by repainting the affected areas.

Although you can use bleach to clean many surfaces in your home, using it on walls can permanently damage the color or even remove paint and expose the paint or bare walls underneath. You’re better off using a light hand, some water, and a small amount of liquid dish soap or vinegar to clean walls with flat paint. If you have mold growth on your walls with flat paint, then a professional cleaner may use bleach, but you’ll almost certainly have to repaint your walls afterward.

Acrylic tubs are easy to clean with simple items you already have around the house. You can use dish soap, hydrogen peroxide, cream of tartar, or borax to clean an acrylic bathtub. Avoid mixing any household cleaners, including common ingredients like vinegar and bleach, as this can create toxic fumes. It’s also best to start with a spot test of any cleaners you use.

It depends on the surface you’re trying to clean. For example, a mixture of vinegar and water is a good option for a deep cleaning, including removing hard water stains from glass or stainless steel. However, vinegar is too acidic for granite and other types of natural stone, so it’s better to use a combination of baking soda and water on those surfaces.
