"Paul was extremely prompt and professional in fulfilling this job request. The windows are crystal clear and screens and tracks clean. The cost was what I expected and lower than others I interviewed. I would recommend his company to my friends."

"Gigi was fabulous! We had not had our house professionally cleaned since before Covid, so there were a lot of details that needed to be done like the walls (we have a 3 year old). It was causing me a lot of anxiety and I had been cancelled on twice by other services. Gigi spent 2 hours in my kitchen cleaning the walls, baseboards and appliances. I felt my anxiety alleviating as she moved through the rest of the house. It was wonderful! She was also so personable and I felt like she really cared about the job she did. Definitely will hire again for other projects and cleaning."

House Cleaning questions, answered by experts

If your house cleaner is doing a standard cleaning, you can expect this project to take between one and three hours, depending on the size of your home. If you are looking for a deeper clean, your house cleaning service might last between two and five hours. For a move-out clean, anywhere from two to three hours is standard.

The time it takes to pack any kitchen depends on its size and how organized the space is. A kitchenette in a tiny abode could take 4 to 8 hours, including decluttering. However, a standard or much larger kitchen can take a full day or longer, depending on the number of items, including appliances you own.

Other than being really gross, not cleaning your bathroom can pose many potential health risks to you and those who use it. Bathrooms are a high-humidity zone where microorganisms thrive. Mold, mildew, yeast, and bacteria can build up quickly on your bathroom’s surfaces, causing respiratory issues, skin irritation, and illness.

Focus on cleaning the air after you’ve finished cleaning surfaces. Use air purifiers, moving them as necessary from room to room. The air filters should be cleaned or replaced, depending on the type of filters you have. Clean the air ducts by yourself or by hiring a pro. Finally, open doors and windows to ensure the space is properly ventilated.

No, you should never use isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to clean flat paint or paint with any other finish. Isopropyl alcohol works similarly to a paint thinner, so it’s likely to liquify the paint on your walls and leave damaged or bare areas. For stubborn stains, try mixing one cup of vinegar or baking soda into a bucket of warm water and scrubbing very gently with a soft sponge. If the stain or soiling is pervasive, touch up the area by repainting the affected areas.
