"He was able to fix it but he said what I paid Angie's List did not cover what needed to be done. It was basically $99 down the drain, as it were. I had to pay an additional $250 for him to remove the toilet and pull out a brush that had gotten stuck there (probably by my summer renters). So the total cost $350. I could have bought and installed a new toilet for that amount. I was amazed at how much he charged me. He was very professional and skilled but too expensive for me next time. If you think it's something more than a standard check-up, I would not use Angie's List. This also happened to me with the carpet cleaners I had paid $45 for two rooms. One room had a rug and he charged me an extra $180 to clean it."

He quickly diagnosed our problem and gave us an estimate for the repairs. A root was crushing our main sewer line directly below our front porch. Unfortunately Alex had to jack hammer through our porch and then dig four feet down to reach the root and the main line. He made the necessary repairs and cleaned up the job site.
