"We made an appointment with Valerie for Mike to give us a quote on removing seven cypress trees near our driveway. Mike advised us to have the gas company mark the ground first, as gas lines ran close to where the trees would be removed, a sign of his professionalism and safety awareness. All About Trees provided a reasonable estimate, and Mike’s TCIA membership reflects the high standards of his professional, experienced, and knowledgeable commercial tree care business. On Monday, August 4, 2025, Mike and his crew of seven hardworking men removed the seven cypress trees with precision. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism, friendliness, and diligence. Mike personally oversaw the job, and the crew left the property spotless. Our home looks so much better now. If you’re looking for an honest tree care company that stands far above the competition, All About Trees—and Mike and Valerie—are the ones to call. We highly recommend them."

"Reyes Tree Services did a great job for us. They arrived on time, got the job done quickly (a team of 3 hard workers), and cleaned up the area so it was even better than when they arrived. I heartily recommend Juan Reyes and his teams!"

"Robert Duran and his crew from 3-D Tree Services, Inc. were top notch today from the quote/survey to completion! I am amazed how quick, efficient, professional and kind this entire team is to work with! This was a tough job (Old/Invasive Pepper Tree). The crew was in sync with each other, allowing the process to be quick and safe. I’m so happy I found them through Home Advisor and the response to my inquiry was quick. Thank you everyone! Referrals will flow!"

"This is the third time we've used them and they never disappoint.  They aren't the cheapest but if you care about your trees and how your lawn looks it is well worth the money.  They do an excellent job protecting all of the other plantings.  They also clean up really well afterward.

They are very knowledgable as well as being nice people."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Aside from removing dead or diseased branches, you should prune your trees somewhere between every one and three years. Some people—particularly commercial farmers—prune their apple trees yearly to produce higher yields. This is the best way to promote tree health. That said, the average homeowner can get away with hard-pruning their mature apple tree every other year or every three years.

Leaf removal costs between $400 and $1,000 per acre on average. Nationally, the cost of leaf removal averages about $350. Cost factors for this project include lawn size, leaf removal method, tree density, location, and the time required to do the job. If your lawn removal service charges based on lawn size, you can expect to pay $0.02 to $0.10 per square foot.

Peach trees grow to be about 25 feet, so keep this in mind for pruning as well. If you plan to DIY, you’ll need to be comfortable working on a ladder. Without pruning, peach tree branches can sprawl nearly as wide as the tree grows tall, so make sure to plan pruning sessions at least once per year in the spring for controlled growth. And if you’re working on a ladder, be sure to follow all safety precautions, especially if you’ll be dealing with falling branches.

On grafted trees, tree suckers will grow from the root stock, not the branches grafted onto it. Therefore, the leaves and characteristics of the suckers aren’t the same as the tree because they are different varieties. Root stock has more hardiness, strength, or drought tolerance than its grafted limbs, so if the suckers are from fruit or flowers, it might be different than the main part of your tree.

Yes, it’s okay to trim low branches on a tree, also known as limbing up or raising the crown. Essentially, you’ll trim the lower third of the tree (trunk) and leave the upper two-thirds of the tree (crown). Arborists recommend trimming 20% of a tree’s leaves per season for two to three seasons. Trimming low branches allows light to flow through the tree, increasing circulation and making the tree stronger and healthier.
