"Great job! Kenny re-routed a section of asphalt that had for year directed water off the surface of the street and straight into my home's foundation. In the last big storm all the rain went where it's supposed to go, and it looks great! 5 stars"

"Our main sewer line backed up on Saturday afternoon. After a bit of research on Angie's List, I called The Drain Company around 3:00 and was given a verbal dollar estimate ($145 minimum on the weekend) and a time estimate of between 5:00 and 8:00 PM. I received a call from Kent at 5:15 PM that he was on the way. He arrived about a half an hour later. He sent the snake down the line, and it soon cleared the clog. He left it going for several extra feet to make sure to clear any additional roots all the way to the street.

They were friendly, polite, and knew the job. They were on time and met the agreed on price. I would not hesitate to call them again!"

"Dominic is the worker who was out here.  He worked steadily and fixed all of my issues.  I was very pleased and I'm putting them in my phone book to call in the future.  He told me about a system they have to water more effectively and use less water.  So the next time they are out, I will check this out.  Good job!

I am specialize in demo and junk removal. I am usually a little bit cheaper then others because most of the stuff I load myself. I can handle putting 4 tons of material on my truck in about 3 to 4 hours on my own. My truck is very large and has 16 foot long bed that can handle 5 tons. I can also get a machine or use more guys if needed. I have been doing this for two years. Please call and let me work out a bid as i Said I have less overhead then most.

"Great customer service. Daniel, Eli, and the crew were awesome from start to finish. Daniel helped us figure out exactly what we needed and had creative ideas when he came over for the quote and design consultation. They worked around our schedule and still got it done in a very timely manner. We love our new patio and gate. They were referred by a friend and we will continue to refer them out to our friends and family. Very positive all around experience!"

"Randy did a great job replacing the concrete in my garage.  He was on time for the quote, talked me through what it would involve and offered up suggestions on the best ways to achieve what I wanted.  He gave me the best priced quote and was able to start the job as soon as possible.

Randy was always in touch with me about what would happen and when.  He hurt his back before the start of the job, and need a few days to recover, but was able to get the work done with his helpers.  Both of his helpers were very nice and helped to empty out the garage with me.

The concrete looks great.  He was a true professional throughout the process.  I couldn't ask for better service.  In the future I will be replacing the driveway and Randy will be the professional I will call. Thanks!

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

Land survey reports have a boatload of information relevant to several scenarios. Here are the types of information contained with a survey, though it depends on your chosen type of land survey. Exact boundaries and dimensions of a given property General topography, including both natural and artificial landmarks Location of utility fixtures, like water mains Confirmation of any easements or encroachments on a piece of property Assessment of land elevation to buy flood insurance Updated information to add to a pre-existing property map

Prior to excavation, you should prepare the dig site and call 311 before you sign anything.

To get your site ready for excavation, you should move anything in the area that isn’t affixed to the land. You can save money on the excavation by removing hardscaping, including walkways, decks, concrete patios, and paver patios.

Before you carry out any digging, you should call 311 to confirm that there are no utility lines running through your excavation site. Skipping this step could lead to severe injury and property damage if your excavator hits a water, sewage, or gas line.

To prepare for a land survey, you must thoroughly check your land surveyor’s qualifications, reviews, and fees to align with your expectations. When it is time for the survey to be conducted, ensure that you have all your documents organized and available, know and mark your property lines, and inform your neighbors that the survey is happening.

Land surveys don’t technically expire. They do serve as a point of reference and a snapshot of your property, though, so as soon as you make changes to your property (and even if your neighbor makes certain changes to theirs), your existing land survey becomes inaccurate, and a new one must be done. Even if you don’t make any changes to your property, many states only guarantee the accuracy of a land survey for five to ten years.

Building a road on a slope requires careful planning and will normally require a drainage system underneath to prevent flooding and damage to the road over time. Your professional may lengthen your road to create switchbacks if the slope directly to your home is too steep, as there are regulations for maximum road slope. The drainage system will help prevent runoff from the higher side of the slope from damaging the asphalt or concrete. Keep in mind that building a road on a slope isn’t a good DIY project, as a lot can go wrong.
