"Ken was fantastic! I could only pick one type of service or project but for our landscape project Ken did minor grading, carved out a 'riverbed', built a short retaining wall, placed large boulders (and gave good recommendations on where to get rocks of all varieties). He is the most humble guy, friendly, and hard working. He has a crew of helpers but Ken was always there doing most of the work. Ken is a busy guy but he works hard at making sure your job is done in a timely manner and he is good about notifying you of any delays. I felt this was reasonable as construction jobs rarely go like clockwork. Very fair pricing, too! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or use his services again."

I am specialize in demo and junk removal. I am usually a little bit cheaper then others because most of the stuff I load myself. I can handle putting 4 tons of material on my truck in about 3 to 4 hours on my own. My truck is very large and has 16 foot long bed that can handle 5 tons. I can also get a machine or use more guys if needed. I have been doing this for two years. Please call and let me work out a bid as i Said I have less overhead then most.

"I had two sheds on my property demolished, they emptied the sheds, got rid of everything, they demolished the sheds and got rid of all of that as well. They did a super job, they were on time, worked steadily and completely, cleaned up all of the debris, were friendly and kept me up to date on what was going on. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wanted quality and honest service."

"Our clay sewer line in our home was filling up with roots. We had had an emergency rooter company come out from our home warranty to deal with a clog and water running down the driveway; this other service tried to cheat us by claiming that our main pipe was collapsed and that they couldn't even feed the camera through it.
We called RichCo and Ben and Pablo came out early. They called ahead to make sure that showing up before the appointment would be ok, which it was - we wanted to be able to use our plumbing! So the early response was great. Ben did a camera inspection and showed us what he was seeing. He identified that roots were growing in at every 4' junction in the old clay pipe, and was easily able to get past the "collapse" (really a root ball) that the other company had "found."
After discussing our options, and not wanting to have to root out the pipes every year or so, my wife and I decided that if we could afford it we would have Richco replace the pipe. Ben and Pablo explained the various options to us and described in detail how they would perform the work.
We decided to have them perform a "trenchless" replacement where they would dig a hole at either end of the existing pipe, burst it out from the inside, and replace it in-place with a seamless polyethylene pipe. They clearly explained the scope of work and pointed out where they might have to do some extra digging and exactly how much this would affect the overall price of the job. The price was a little high for us, especially having just bought our house, but we decided we wanted the job done right and  were willing to pay a premium to ensure that we were working with a good, honest, and local company. Then Ben helped us get financing so that we could do the full replacement that we wanted to do! The financing option was a great way
to be able to afford such an expensive job.
Unfortunately, one end of the pipe was going to have to come up in our landscaping. No problem for Richco! Vincente and Jose, with Pablo, did a great job: they bagged up all of our mulch, temporarily transplanted the flowers and shrubs that were in the way, and the restored everything to just the way it had been before they left.
They finished the job early, came in under the maximum estimated price, and left our property looking better than they found it. They handled 100% of the hassle with landscaping, inspections, etc. We came home late from work on the 2nd day and the whole job was finished. Pablo even came by at 7pm to make sure that we were satisfied, and Jeff called us as well to follow-up.
Overall this was the best experience I have ever had with a plumbing company and one of the best I have ever had working with contractors in general. We will definitely use Richco again should we ever need more plumbing work done!

"I had a very satisfactory experience with Ventura County Rooter. Within about 10 minutres they had successfully cleared the plugged water line, and then based on their inspection of the house and when it was built and its general condition, provided additional feedback about other plumbing topics that were beneficial to me. I had them come back the next weekend to perform a general maintenance check of the entire house plumbing system, which is now warrantied for two years. It was very good service."

"When we purchased the house, it was a 30 year old home. Almost everybody in the period of five years to seven years wanted to convert to copper plumbing. So what they offered at that time was anyone you referred to if they chose to use their service, you have $500 cash payment which was really nice because half of our neighbors and our family members used them. I do not know what they do now, but it is a really nice service because they are a very good company. They did a great job."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

When planning for land survey costs, you should consider the following elements as major contributors to the overall cost:

  • Size of your property in terms of acres or square feet

  • Complexity of the terrain in terms of hills, elevation changes, rocks, water, and other features

  • Type of survey you need (boundary survey, topographic survey, or a combination of survey types)

  • Distance traveled for the professional surveyor

There are a couple of ways you can determine the depth of your well. One method is to use a device called a well sounder. This tool has a long measuring tape containing a sensor to alert you once the end reaches the water.

Or you can DIY it by using a long tape measure with a half-filled bottle of water attached to it. Lower the tape measure into your well. Once you feel tension on the tape, you’ll know the bottle has reached your static water level. This will give you an approximate idea of your well’s depth.

It is almost always necessary to hire a land surveyor near you to ensure your fence sits on the right side of the property line. Mistaking the shape of your property can lead to fines and costly changes if you have to move or adjust the privacy fence—not to mention some surly looks from your neighbor. We recommend jumpstarting your fence planning in the spring to ensure there is plenty of time to map out your plan before construction season.

This is fairly rare, but sometimes the local government or a group like a historical society will label a tree as a landmark, or historical item. These designations almost always come with a small, on-site plaque for identification, but you should also be able to look up protected trees in your area on a city website or similar list. If the tree in question is a landmark, call your local government and ask how to proceed before making any plans.

A land survey includes the layout of a single property, including precise measurements and to-scale drawings of boundary lines, land improvements, and sometimes other features, like topography and drainage information. A plat map includes the layouts and boundary lines of several adjacent plots and basic structure measurements. Surveys are normally more valuable for homeowners and buyers, and plat maps are for governmental use.
