"I Just had Noe and his crew install a concrete patio with walkway and stairs around my house in Escondido. They laid rebar and finished the concrete forms I had started and did an excellent job. He was very responsive to my ideas and even was able to make some last minute changes to the set up I asked for. "Evan and his team were great. They showed up on time and were very careful with the work and my property. A couple of examples were he had the concrete truck drivers survey the access before attempting to bring their truck. I live on the side of a steep hill so this was important to confirm. Also, Evan was the only bidder that brought up drainage and how best to manage it. Changes to my original plan were discussed and we both agreed on the additional cost of what I wanted before any work was done. I learned a lot from the experience and believe I got what I really needed, not just what I had originally thought. Evan’s experience and ability to communicate were key to getting a great project. I highly recommend this company."

"Thanks to Aguis Concrete, my kids now have a backyard that they love. The installation of artificial turf has provided them with a perfect space to play soccer. The backyard used to be dirt which made it very difficult for them to practice outside. The concrete patio included a basketball hope installation with no additional cost. The cinderblock wall was created to get rid of the slope that my property had. I observed them from start to finish and they took no shortcuts. "I would highly recommend Peter. Foundations On The Level performed quality work. He knew the importance of our construction timeline and was able to schedule us in an expedited fashion. He took extra attention to detail, even locating an additional crack that we were not aware of. Unfortunately for us, when we purchased our house, the previous owner neglected to disclose any of the foundation issues. Foundation On The Level rectified this for us and did a quality repair using the proper methods and giving us confidence to move forward with our home renovation now the the floors are repaired. "Mike inspired immediate trust with his knowledge, thoroughness and honesty about the project. He sharpened his pencil to meet a competing bidder who did not inspire confidence, and his bid was almost a third of another bidder who came in with lots of bells and whistles. He and his crew showed up timely for the work, and were very friendly, courteous and professional. When an unforeseen issue arose, Mike didn't seek additional compensation, although I increased it voluntarily as it was a shared oversight. After a recent, less than satisfactory experience with another contractor, Mike was a breath of fresh air, and I highly recommend his services."

"Bait and switch. I obtained multiple quotes for my foundation. Dalinghaus Construction quoted me 19 piers to stabilize my home. I questioned why their competitors were quoting me over 30 piers; and they reassured me I was being over quoted by their competitors. Long story short, I went with Dalinghaus. During construction, a rep (David F) came by to drop off some tools and found that 19 piers would not be enough. They said I needed 14 more piers (totaling 33– same as their competitors). I’m stuck because I cannot leave my home half stabilized. No other reputable company would complete the job if another company started it. I was obligated to move forward with Dalinghaus. No one called to apologize for the misstep. They invoiced me and could care less how much this would affect my family. They proceeded to install14 more piers but left 14 large holes— they said backfilling was not part of the scope of work, while the original 19 were backfilled. Insanely strange why they think I wanted 14 large holes at my home. So this is where they gave me a “discount.” They backfilled the holes for free. Free? It should be included in the work. All in all, why do I have to pay for a mistake of this magnitude? I’ve tried to work it out with them peacefully but they have not provided me anything that would make this right. Only excuses why they should not compensate me. They have no integrity. They only care about their reputation at this point (they want my bbb review taken down). I would like to be compensated for the 14 additional piers that were missed from the original quote. 14 additional piers is a completely new job, not a “new work order.” They are the professional and should have done a more thorough assessment to provide me an accurate quote. Their competitors seemed to have done so but I was sadly duped by Dalinghaus. They baited me in and switched the price after the work started. $38k is a lot to lose. I have 2 small children and a home that needs to be completed. Ps. I’ve been waiting over 2 months for a resolution."
