"We couldn't have been more impressed with Tony and his team of skilled experts. When Tony came for the initial quote, I was thinking to have the cabinets refinished as I heard that was more economical and we were on a strict budget. Tony advised we should go with brand new and he could do it cheaper than refacing and within our budget. Once we got started, we needed to pick out the cabinets and decide on general look, where Tony offered guidance on what was a good idea or otherwise. Once the work commenced, it was an impressive thing to watch as we also wanted to accomplish within an extremely aggressive timeline of under 3 weeks start to finish.
Day 1, - Tony and team arrived on time and had our appliances on a protective cover for our flooring and removed everything else in the kitchen, plus did complete clean-up and removal in under 2 hours.
Day 2- We brought in an outside electrician (not from Tony's crew) we have a relationship with, to add and move electrical.
Day 3 and 4- The drywall expert came and patched over 30 holes (most created by prior electrical work and/or preexisting behind the cabinets. Once again, on time and highly professional. Meticulous in his work, he made sure the little stuff was taken care.
Day 6 and 7- Painters came, on time, and they not only painted the kitchen, but adjoining wall we wanted and two bedrooms that we had added on to our deal.
Day 9- The cabinet builders arrived, on time and did what we thought was impossible. They put together and installed the new cabinets in under one day. If you had seen the amount of boxes, you'd understand why we thought this was not possible. They looked fantastic!!
Day 10- Tony and crew arrived to sheet over new cabinets in prep for countertop measurements. They built out a special breakfast nook and cocktail table that we love and really enhances the overall look and usability. They were flexible and creative in approach to help us create what we envisioned.
Day 11- The professional from the fabrication Co arrived to measure for countertops, we had already picked out the granite we wanted and this gentlemen measured and worked with us on making sure all the details were as we wanted from edging to how things came together. We have a lot of funky areas due to the old configuration and he helped normalize many of those.
Day 17- Countertops arrive! They are gorgeous. The installers came on time and worked throughout the day placing making them fairly seemless despite the amount of different cuts we ordered.
Day 18- Tony and his crew of 6 this time arrive for the finishing touches, they install lights and a range hood that if it weren't for Tony and his creativity might not have worked. He made some adjustments that helped make it the right height, where per the basic installation couldn't be done. They touched up all areas and finalized some painting details. In addition we had a side project of rotting eves that he accomplished. They placed all our appliances back and then proceeded to clean the area in detail.
Throughout the process, Tony was in constant communication. After any of his network of professionals came, he would call and inquire our satisfaction and advise next steps and timelines. He addressed all concerns promptly. There was never a time I could not reach him on a moments notice.
While he had some other larger jobs in the works, he treated us and ours as just as important. He and his team really seemed to care about their work and helping us achieve our dream kitchen in this place on the very limited budget we outlined. Despite greater complexity on some items, Tony honored the deal he had made us.
