Customers say: Quality work
"I would give Austyn 100 stars if I could. He made the project go smoothly. His personality, level headedness, his problem solving skills, knowledge of his craft and the ability to work with others so appreciated. While excavating for the septic Leitchfield, I had him do other work on the property, moving earth and building a retaining wall. When he discovered a huge cavern where earth had eroded to the point of danger, he immediately ordered everything and had it fixed in a few days. He was here on time, and he stayed on the job until it was finished. Here ever day. That isn't always the case, especially when unexpected things (like a cavern) show up and the job takes longer than planned. Everything turned out perfectly, we passed the city inspections on the first try. You can't go wrong with Austyn, he is someone you can trust."

Small jobs welcome
"The pressure pump on our well system failed on July 4th. We have a irrigation system for our extensive home vegetable garden and dreaded the prospect of hand watering half an acre of crops. Romero (The owner of Quality Pump Service) returned our phone call over the holiday weekend within a hour. They are a family run business. He was willing to come to our home and install a temporary pump on Sunday as a new pump would not be available for two days (Remember it is the July 4th Holiday weekend). In short, we were completely repaired in two days with a new pump and new pressure tank. We checked on-line retailers to see if Romero had overcharged us for the new components. He was within 5% of the average retail price which would have been our cost if we had fixed the system ourselves. His team was fast, pleasant and professional and given the holiday emergency response very fairly priced. We feel we can highly recommend Quality Pump Services."

"It took me several calls to finally get in touch with someone that could get me scheduled that day. Each call was pleasant however after 2 calls they should be calling me back when the time slot they provided has expired. Each person I spoke with was pleasant, so no issues there. Call was finally scheduled, same day, for 5pm. It was then 5:15 so I called back and was bumped to 7:00 pm. 7:30 now and then got bumped again to 9:00 pm. 9:30 plumber shows up and apologies profusely for being so late. Again I was not upset as this was a same day job and they fit me into the schedule. Explained my situation, where I wanted him to start and he did. Found the clog in the first 5 minutes. He then grabbed the small snake and was not able to unclog the drain. Gentleman got nervous as he never worked on a septic tank so he called his supervisor who said to open the tank to validate it wasnt backed up. This is where I started to get frustrated. There were no issues with the tank and it took him about 30-45 minutes extra to just open and go back and forth with the tank as he never worked a septic tank prior to my house. Eventually he grabbed the large snake and ran it twice, which unclogged the drain in about 15 minutes.
Had he brought the large snake out first the job would have taken 30 minutes instead it took 2 hours and he charged me for 1.5 hours as he realized he should have brought the large snake to begin with. So all in all I would I paid an extra $80 on top of the $135 for the extra half hour not included in the promotion. I took it as a service call fee for a late night job, I do feel that it should not have been charged however the man was nice and still learning. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

"We live in Carmel Valley and hired Justin and his team to do an addition and full remodel of our home including re-plumbing, rewiring, redoing the septic systems and replacing our ridge line beam, after having a terrible experience with our first contractor. Justin's team picked up the project while in the permitting phase and did a fantastic job on all aspects of the project, from pulling the permits through the final. They were always available, transparent with their bid process and exceedingly fair when unknowns came up in the project. Doing a high-end remodel is never cheap, but their pricing was fair, transparent and they worked with us to fit everything we wanted into our budget and schedule. Could not recommend them more highly!"

"Vortex Filtration Inc is a excellent company with vast experience & knowledge in conditioning potable well water. I recommend Vortex Filtration Inc to design build and install their patented Vortex water system to solved all well water conditioning issues. My client had a problem for over tens years prior to the installation of the Vortex system. Once installed, the well water in the holding tank was crystal clear. Thanks Vortex!"

The cost to replace a septic tank is $7,350 for the average homeowner. This cost can range, however, from $470 to $22,500, depending on several factors. Your house size is a significant factor in the overall cost, but other things like material type impact the final price tag. For example, installing a new septic tank in a one-bedroom house typically costs $500 to $900, whereas installing a new septic tank in a five or six-bedroom home is generally $1,200 to $1,600.
Yes, most states require septic tank installers to have a license, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed septic tank pro could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
The cost of septic tank repair is $1,775 for the average homeowner. However, depending on a few elements, you might pay as little as $170 or as much as $6,100. Location, repair type, and tank material all determine the final cost. For example, replacing the septic tank filter can be as little as $200 to $300. However, repairing septic lines costs more, averaging around $1,500.
A septic tank can typically last 15 to 20 years on average, though your system's lifespan will vary depending on the type of septic system and the materials used. To help increase your septic tank's lifespan, schedule routine maintenance and do not flush items like cat litter, cigarette butts, or paper towels.
Repairing or replacing a septic tank is a job best left to a professional. Your septic tank is an essential part of your home, and if installed or repaired incorrectly, it could lead to significant problems. Things like polluted water, property damage, and health risks to your family could all happen as a result of an improper septic tank repair or installation.
