There was a very professional foreman, Johnny, who was there every day. He went over the plans and the progress each day. These are professionals who take their time to prep surfaces properly and let them dry before painting. I have container plants around the house. They took pictures of how they were arranged. They moved them away from the house before starting and put them back where they originally were when they were finished. They tidied up at the end of each day. "I must say George Parks was a refreshing difference from all the contractors we had quoted from. Out of the 5 contractors that bid for us, George, as the sole proprietor, came out and gave us straight forward, no-nonsense bid. He was methodical in his site inspection work and gave us a best case scenario of how the ideal roof repair was supposed to go. He wasn't slick or gimmicky with pricing. I knew right away this guy took a ton of pride in his family's tradecraft. He also built into the pricing to account for unexpected surprises like wood damage and he was also willing to work with me on pricing when our actual roof dimensions was larger than the estimate I provided for him on area, which consequently meant more materials needed to finish the project. George pulled all the necessary permits and handled all the city paperwork. The project took about 7-10 days to complete which included exterior paint, decking repair, stucco repair, wood repair and restoration. His crew showed up on time and kept the site very clean. George served as foreman and was there every single day without fail. We spent 30 minutes each day with a work in progress walk around and updates whenever a major phase was completed. At all times, he was keeping an eye on the quality control and ferrying supplies to keep the crews working on schedule. His crews are experienced, polite, and punctual. In the end, he cleaned up the site better than he left it. The house now looks brand new and the painting looks immaculate. He was the right combo of services for us. We had hard to paint areas (like the chimney and high rooftop trims) and the fact we had coordinated with the roofing schedule, the outcomes were better than if they were done in piecemeal. The painters were able to reach difficult areas that would have required scaffolding but since we did the roof at the same time, they were able to integrate access to hard areas seamlessly in the schedule. This was a significant repair for us but I felt I had my money well spent on all the work that needed to be done. He was fair, honest, punctual, transparent, and experienced. He stood firm on his quote with no up-sells. He budgeted for allowances for unseen surprises within reason. He also stood behind his workmanship. A+ work."

"I got three bids and James's was the middle price. He arrived quickly to give me a quote, scheduled immediately a few days later when I made up my mind. His crew arrived very punctually (too early for my neighbors, but that's another story). I was amazed at how quickly they did the prep and painting - quoted me four days, painting only took two days (power wash was day before), with some touchups/finishes on day 3. And they did a great job! I had a couple quirky things that they easily folded into the job. The crew were all professional and courteous. There was small amount of painting on the ground at the base of the house (as I expected), but none on the patios/deck. They bent one screen in the process and when I pointed it out, they immediately got it replaced! They were fairly careful with the plants around the house as well. Also, I texted James a few times with various questions or requests, and he was very responsive and helpful. I really liked working with them and would not hesitate to recommend them in the future."

"I highly recommend this painting company.  We have had our house painted several times in the last 22 years and Dream Painting was by far the superior service.  Professional from start to finish. On time each morning, cleanup each evening. My biggest concern was the thoroughness of the prep work.  An older home has many imperfections.  The thoroughness of the preparation of all the different types of surfaces was amazing,  more than we would have imagined.  Power washing was completed and clear plastic was used to cover and protect all unpainted areas including concrete walkways, decking, pool and even my neighbor's car.  Bare wood, that had been recently installed during the installation of the new roof,  was primered and stucco repair was done with a concrete mix where even the smallest hairline crack was addressed. The house was completely painted by day three with the crew returning on day four (a Saturday) to paint a downspout that had been missed.  Even now, I cannot find any evidence of overspray.  After completion, all we had to do was reinstall the screens. No cleanup required.
