Meet the Business Owner The succession of McGraw family-owned companies began in the early seventies. As a young boy growing up in the 80s, helping my grandfather Julian at his company McGraw Roofing, I received valuable lessons in hard labor; and from those early experiences I discovered a passion for building and using tools. The inspiration from my younger years led to a career in carpentry, and in 2005 I joined the Carpenters' Union completing a four-year apprenticeship program. Soon after becoming a Journeymen Carpenter in 2009, we faced the devastating housing-market crash. Work was scarce, to say the least, but I applied for a scholarship with Modesto Tech College in Building Mechanic Maintenance. I was accepted and graduated in 2010 earning HVAC, Welding, and Electrical certifications. From these humble beginnings, I proudly represent a legacy of quality craftsmanship that is cornerstone to the success of McGraw Construction, Inc.
