"Our job was a first-class operation from start to finish. After the break was repaired, Armando ran a camera and found lots of standing water. He recommended hydroflushing the pipe, which cleaned out a lot of roots, and then he was able to see further up the line, and found an even worse break. After digging up more cement and excavating more pipe, they realized that they had to undo the first repair and replace about 10 feet of the pipe. Armando also recommended that we install a two-way clean-out near the house, which would be set flush into the new cement, and would make dealing with any future problems much easier. All the workers were polite and friendly, and did excellent, careful, and thorough work, despite the 100-degree plus heat. Armando is especially outstanding: he is very knowledgeable and experienced; he explained things very well; and he kept in good communication with us about when the workers were coming (they were always on time). He applies himself to the work with energy and enthusiasm, and treats the customer with consideration and warmth. When the job turned out to be much more complicated, Armando gave us a fair price for the additional work, and also gave us a discount for using Angie’s List. I cannot remember a better experience with a home repair contractor!"

"I was so happy with The Plumbing Therapist!!! I needed to replace a garbage disposal and a faucet in a kitchen vegetable sink. I had already bought both replacements and had them ready for them when they got there. After looking at the disposal he found that he might be able to dislodge what was stuck inside instead of installing the new one to save me the cost of the replacement. After working on it he found that he could not and installed the new disposal. He then started on the faucet and found that it was still under warranty with the manufacturer. Who new after 14 years!!! He helped me contact them while he was there and got a brand new replacement sent to me for FREE!!! It is a little scary taking a chance on new service providers with the hope that they are honest, hardworking and professional and The Plumbing Therapist was all 3!!! I will definitely refer them to all of my friends and neighbors.

"I had replaced the pump and timer after the old pump died. I purchased a new pump from Leslie's Pool Supply and installed it, but I couldn't get the water circulating well, even after replumbing from 1.5" to 2" pipe. Matt responded quickly, discovered there was a crucial part missing from the new pump just by listening and observing it in operation. He recommended replacing the old filter system because of it's inefficiency. He did not charge for his visit, and offered to install the missing part. Based on our conversation, I contacted Leslie's and demanded a remedy for the pump. They ordered the missing part and had it here in 3 days. I asked Matt to go ahead and replace the filter, which he and Brian did yesterday. They were delayed by some emergency work, but called ahead and we agreed on a new time later the same day. They got here on time, installed the missing pump part, took out the old filter and installed the new one in about 75 minutes. They also fixed a problematic connection on the pool sweep pump, and while Brian worked on the plumbing for the new filter, Matt took the time to sweep and net the pool, and check the pool chemistry. Matt wrote up the invoice reflecting his 5% Angie's List discount without my having to present the coupon and they left after ensuring the system is working properly. I expect to call them if we have any other issues in the future."
