"Cut down 2 large Cypress trees to level we requested as well as trimming limbs away from house on a Catawba tree. 1 sprinkler was broken but was repaired. Owner stopped by & said he didn't know the trees were so large, even tho we sent pictures, & should have quoted more. We gave an additional $250 cash to our $600 check. All debris was removed & lawn cleaned up. Very happy with results."

"Reynaldo and Bernardo did a FANTASTIC job!! The tree was severely overgrown and needed serious pruning and thinning. They were promptly on-time as scheduled and cleaned my yard and neighbors yards that were impacted by the debris. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!! Thank you Angi."

"My home has 5 gigantic deodor pine trees and it is always a chore weeding through all the certified arborists and tree services to find the right guys for the job but this time I decided to go with my gut and give this young crew full of passion for the job a chance to do it ..I have to say they far exceeded my expectations and tirelessly worked pruning and raising the giant branches climbing all the way to the top paying careful attention to every detail and need of the trees and I think the images of the finished trees will speak for themselves but I know the next time they need work done who to call : Jimmy's Tree Care, Inc. I can highly recommend this crew working together like a well oiled machine facing any challenges headon"

"The boss and workers were professional and cleaned up their mess of tree branches. They took the two dead trees out easily without having to climb either one. It took them 45 minutes from start to finish and I paid $800. A good deal for Evergreen."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

In most ways, palm trees are incredibly low-maintenance. They don’t need a ton of water—which is why they’re so beloved in desert regions—and they basically prune themselves. But they do need an ample supply of sunlight and to be in soil that will allow for proper drainage so that their roots don’t become waterlogged and at risk of developing illnesses.

If the plant begins to wilt, develop spots, or change color, these could all be signs that your palm tree has a disease. But a few basic treatments, like pruning and applying fungicide, will usually be more than enough to return it to perfect health.

Peach trees don’t tend to live as long as other types of trees and crops. They tend to last only about 12 years, and you shouldn’t expect to see a full peach harvest each of those years, either. Young peach trees need a few years to get established before they produce fruit, but you should have plenty of peaches for your pies and cobblers during their mature years, around years four through eight.

Consumers typically do not need to worry about the cost of tree insurance, as professional tree service companies pay for their own coverage. For a tree service business, an average U.S. policy covering about $1 million in general liability costs roughly $40 a month or $500 a year. More extensive policies, providing between $500,000 to $2 million in coverage, can cost between $3,000 and $6,000 annually, depending on the company's size and scope of work. Tree service professionals should speak with an insurance company to determine the right plan for their business.

Palm trees are unique in that their roots don't grow straight down; they grow horizontally. Typically, palm tree roots go down between 12 and 36 inches deep. The roots grow far and wide from the base of the palm tree to absorb as much water and soil nutrients as possible. In addition, the horizontal roots are also very strong—keeping palm trees stable and helping them sway during storms.

It can be bad to leave a dead stump in the ground. A stump becomes a hefty piece of dead wood in time and eventually (especially with the help of rain) starts to rot. That makes it a locus point for diseases and pesky insects, as well as a bit of an eyesore. It’s best to remove a tree stump completely before it starts to decay, especially before it starts to fall apart. If the tree was removed because of disease, it’s even more important to fully remove the stump if possible.
