"Very nice worker?s. Took down 2 large ficus trees and another stump in the back. Was very efficient and did an excellent job cleaning up the area?s afterwards. I definitely recommend them and last but not least, the price they charged was very reasonable. Thank you so much!!!!"
"Excellent, fast & professional service. They removed two very large palm trees in a very short period of time and completely cleaned up so that it looked like they were never there. Would definitely use them again and shall refer them to family & friends. AWESOME COMPANY!!!"
"The best company ever! The crew arrived on time and went to work immediately. Richard was in charge of the crew. He did not stand around and supervise, he joined the workers in getting the job done. He asked us if we had any questions or concerns as they were working. What a professional crew. The cleaned up and left our place just as it was before they started. They protected our plants from any damage and made sure everything the work was to our satisfaction. We will definitely use Richard and Discount Tree Care Arborists again. Also, we did check them out and they had all the property liability and workers compensation insurance needed."
"The crew was friendly and professional and they did a great job in trimming the tree to remove the daily debris that was falling into my yard every day."
"I called 2 straight gardeners and he called back immediately. He came out within the next day and told me how much he charge for clean up on the yard and how he would charge to do what I wanted done to get the lawn back. He has just been fabulous. My lawn has never looked this good ever and I have been very happy. I found him on Angies List. He has been in business only for 2 to 4 years but he is well worth it. I really appreciate all his skills. He redid the sprinkler system for me. Many of the sprinklers had to be replaced. He charged me what might be the labor for them, a little over what each sprinkler had cost and now they work beautifully. He flushed the system and he found one that was not working and told me that has to be replaced though it was one he had just repaired, he told how much it would be, I wrote out a check and he had it replaced the next day. He re-seeded it December and I now have a beautiful green grass. He also sprayed everything before he seeded and killed most of the weeds that were there. He used a systemic weed killer in the spot and he is on top of it all the time. I think he has above and beyond his call of duty. He is really good. He also trims the roses every 6 weeks which I appreciate very much. He charges $25 a week for mowing and to edge."
"Alfonso and his team are true professionals. Quality at a reasonable price. I was amazed how fast they removed both my huge palm trees. My kids got a kick out of there robotic stump remover machine. Highly recommend, will be using again for my next project."
"Best price I could find. They cut down my tree and stub ground it deep for me because I was having a concrete slap layed over it. They did such a great job I hired them to do the same for a tree at my girlfriends house. They did a amazing job for her as well. Both jobs very professional, quick, and the clean up was like there was never a tree there."
Palm tree stumps can take as long as seven to ten years to rot naturally. Whereas some tree stumps rot within a year, palm trees tend to last longer due to their deep root networks. Chemical rotting (described above) can help speed the process up so your palm tree stumps rot in under two months.
The exact answer to this question depends on which region of the country you’re talking about, but according to various tree counts, some of the most common types of trees in the United States include red maple, Douglas fir, quaking aspen, loblolly pine, and sweetgum.
Once you confirm a tree is dead, you should remove it. Dead trees eventually fall, and larger trees in particular can cause damage to rooftops, fencing, flowers, and other objects. As we mentioned, letting decayed wood stay in your yard also invites risks to the surrounding landscaping and vegetation.
You can use a felling ax to chop down a tree by following the same prep and steps as a chainsaw, but be prepared to use some muscle. For trees bigger than 7 inches in diameter, it can take some time and serious strength to cut down a tree using just an ax.
In nature, there are many things that can cause a tree to die, including diseases, insects, and natural disasters such as fires or droughts. Non-natural methods of killing a tree include herbicides or manual intervention, such as cutting it down. Consult a tree removal professional about your options for naturally killing a tree.
