It all started when I posted a request for a custom cabinet/bookshelf builder on Angi and IDEL responded promptly. From the very beginning, they were very reliable and sensitive to my needs. I had a unique situation whereby I needed two custom bookcases built into an existing space. Dennise contacted me and scheduled a visit immediately. The IDEL designer (Edward), came out and was very professional. He took all of the measurements and, within a short period of time, presented me with a CAD design prototype view. At every step of the project, they kept me informed. They were very diligent in making sure they were building exactly what I requested. They called me to their shop to view the progress of the product on two occasions. They met every milestone to my satisfaction. The installation crew were very skilled and experienced. To be perfectly candid, I saw a few of the negative reviews about IDEL. I ignored them and decided to give IDEL a chance and I am glad I did. He took measurements and then provided a couple of different sets of CAD drawings for us to choose from. He provided updates to the drawings in a timely manner and helped us to make cost-effective choices. Sean worked with us to schedule the installation to coordinate with the work in our closet. The installers arrived promptly and completed the job as scheduled. The resulting closet is beautiful. The workmanship is excellent. Our closet is oddly shaped and all the cuts/carpentry fits exactly. The drawers and doors operate beautifully and the aesthetic is just what we wanted."
