"We have used US Home Developers before, and had them remodel our bathroom and scrape/resurface our acoustic ceilings in three rooms. Everything turned out very well. The shower was completely redone and modernized, and we are pleased with the result. Kris kept us informed every step of the way. The workers were very conscientious with masks and social distancing. Finally, we are very happy with the updates to the lights and fan in the bathroom. We would highly recommend US Home Developers for any project, and will not hesitate to use them again in the future."

"After two years of failing water quality and despite a $ 2000.00 installation of a whole house filtration system, Rich and his team did a in depth re-evaluation of the water being supplied.  It was found that the chemical in balances neccestitated a system that could overcome the destruction of our pipes, appliances, sanitary facilities. His field supervisot  researched and found the best system for our situation. The entire project was a day's work of removing the failed system, re-plumbing the pipes to fit, plumbing in and out. They are so organized and competent. All their needs are pre-planned for the job. Our water was off just part of the day. The best is that they do not leave any mess for the customer to clean up. While on the job, the rest of the house was checked for any additional plumbing problems.
Jeremy, the supervisor, is researching for us additional upgrades to our older plumbing. ie., tankless water heaters for an all electric home.
I have been associated with this company since their founding. Only get better and better."

"I have a lot of items that I store in the bathroom, and my bathroom that I had before the remodeling project had zero place for storing things, which meant that everything was either on the counter of the vanity or on the floor. It was a big cluttered mess. The bathroom I have now fixed all my storage issues: we put in new shelves and niches for all my cosmetics and shampoo bottles. And now I actually have space to move around! I have Tom and Lucas to thank for this. They did a great job not only with my master bathroom, but with the two others as well. I wanted a nice clean and white look with subway tiles. I know many people look down on subway tiles, so I was already expecting Tom and Lucas trying to talk me out of it. But they didn’t. They took my wishes to heart and executed them. Which was the case with all the decisions I made. If I was uncertain, they offered extremely helpful advice and suggestions, but they made sure that I was getting the bathroom that I wanted. I really enjoyed working with them and will hire them again if I can come up with another project for them to work on."

Basement Waterproofing questions, answered by experts

The most expensive foundation repair method is to install helical piers. Helical piers are a type of steel pier used to support sinking foundations in areas with poor soil conditions or deep bedrock. This foundation repair method can cost up to $3,000 per pier, including labor, because of its material and labor-intensive installation process. Total foundation repair costs can easily reach over $20,000 using this method.

Brick is designed to absorb moisture, but it is also designed to let it evaporate as well. So in general, the goal shouldn’t necessarily be keeping moisture out but making sure it has the room to breathe. If you have excess moisture getting through your brick wall, it’s more likely that you have a crack or other issue at play that a typical sealant won’t fix. So, instead of investing in sealant, try repairing your brick wall instead.

Yes, you can technically make a crawl space liveable, but the only way to do so is by converting it into a basement. While some crawl spaces are big enough to walk through and store large items, they lack appropriate insulation and space to be liveable.

It’s not the number of weep holes that should be of concern to builders but rather their spacing. Weep holes are usually spaced anywhere between 16 inches on center when using round tubes or wicking materials and 24 inches on center when using open-head joints. This is a more conservative spacing than the 33-inch maximum spacing on center that’s mentioned in the International Residential Code. All in all, the total number of weep holes a brick exterior should have will depend on the size of the structure.

The foundation repair that will work best varies based on the extent of the damage, the underlying cause, soil conditions, weather conditions, and more. Permanent foundation solutions like underpinning and exterior drainage solutions are better than temporary fixes that don’t address the source of the issue. Some examples of more temporary solutions include mudjacking or slabjacking, waterproof paint, and dampproofing. The best course of action is to have a reliable foundation specialist inspect your issue, treat the underlying problem, and restabilize your foundation.
