"I had an excellent experience with Pro Bright Construction. They responded to my initial inquiry very quickly and were able to schedule the installation of a whole-home water flow restrictor on the main water intake that same day. The two professionals who completed the work were friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Although this was a significant installation, they finished the job in just a couple of hours and left the work area spotless. Unlike regular cleanings, snaking your sewer line should be done as needed. There’s no reason to snake your sewer line if you don’t have any noticeable issues, like slow drainage or plugged drains. You can add it to your regular sewer cleaning checklist as a prevention method (on the same 18- to 22-month schedule), but it’s not always necessary. 

Ejector pumps can only push sewage 750 feet or less. That’s because their purpose is to move waste from your home to your sewer line—which is a relatively short distance. Grinder pumps can transport sewage further, but they manage lower volumes of waste than ejector pumps (and they don’t work with septic systems).

Avoid flushing non-degradable items, schedule regular inspections, and address minor clogs promptly.

You could be smelling sewer gas in your kitchen because of a dry P-trap, clogged vent pipe, or leaking plumbing seals. If you smell a rotten egg odor, check your sink’s P-trap and plumbing connections first. A clogged or damaged vent pipe can trap sewer gas and push it back into your kitchen through the plumbing pipes. Loose or deteriorated seals around drainpipes can also allow sewer gas to leak out.
