"I was concerned i might have a rat problem and had Ratman Pest and Termite Control out to inspect and offer solutions. Gilbert came the next day and was clear both that I had a significant infestation in the crawl space throughout the underside of my house and that the remedy did not require the much more costly "rat slab" concrete fill suggested by several other companies. We had multiple points of entry and Gilbert recommended sealing them securely with trenching using galvanized mesh and stakes, and then monitoring with traps and frequent inspections. We went with his recommendation, and have been thrilled with the work and results. Andres did a spectacular job of sealing all entry points and then repairing some duct and insulation damage that the rats had caused. Following a thorough cleanup, the space is rat free with plans to continue to monitoring regularly. Ratman provides a year warranty, so we anticipate based on other reviews that Gilbert will be responsive if needed should we see any evidence of further problems. He was true to his word that what he suggested was a remedy that would be the most cost-effective solution that would address the problem and best ensure against problems in the future. "Well, we did need treatment. We had spot chemical cleaning performed. The treatment appointment was available immediately and the technician showed up exactly on time. I do not know pricing for these services so cannot provide accurate price comparison information. My only advice is to make sure the technician goes into the attic."

"California Pest Defense were quick to contact me and organize for someone to come round to inspect the issue. They explained over the phone that the inspection was free, but that any extermination cost (if necessary), would be agreed between myself and the technician. Thankfully, whatever my husband had sprayed to deter the wasps from setting up a nest behind our gutters had worked, as the technician confirmed that there were no active wasps there. The technician told me about the bi-monthly pest control service that they offer, so we will be looking into that."
