- DSS LandscapingWell over due review! I am a small business owner (micro small). I called DSS for turf replacement and a retaining wall and steps (wood) replacement. The wall is about 36ft in length. I spoke to David and he came out and estimated the work quickly. When I was ready to start they came out and did an amazing job. David and Sharita are a really good team. David also has a really good group of guys working with him that are precise and quick. My family was in over our head with a vacation planned in the middle of the job. The team was patient with our rookie scheduling mistake. David was patient with the entire project. This was our families first renovation project and they made it seamless! Hire them! My job was done in May of 2023. I wasn’t paid or asked to review this company just an FYI

I can say this with 100% confidence because I initially did not go with Bella Rosa, and I had the worst experience ever. Why did I not go with Bella Rosa? I had the work quoted by a few contractors and chose one. After choosing my contractor, I went to Purchase Green to pick out my turf. It was at Purchase Green that I meet Travis who was picking up an order for a client. Travis helped answered my turf questions and gave me advice. I was so impressed with Travis that I had him come out to quote our work. I then had the hard decision of shifting gears to a new contractor (Bella Rosa) or sticking with my initial choice. Like a coward, I stayed the path, and it was not a great path. I had the turf installed and the original installer did a horrible job. The nails were visible, the turf was laid facing the wrong way, it was wavy, the cuts were uneven, and the area was left messy. I was so upset and could not even look at my yard. It hurt so much knowing my family spent money that was completely wasted. I was embarrassed of my yard, I even cried! I called Travis and explained what occurred and he came back the same day to see what could be done. Travis was empathetic and worked with me to salvage what we could of the materials. Not once did he make me feel bad of my choice. He offered ideas to help. He sent me an updated quote and within a week was able to get his team out to completely redo our turf install. Now our yard looks AMAZING! The difference between the quality of work is like night and day. I am so thrilled with our new turf and with Bella Rosa. Just today I was laying on the turf with the dogs and appreciating the stunning yard. The moral of the story is – Pick Bella Rosa for your Yard

"Alvaro Mantar did a very good job replacing the concrete apron in front of our garage and blending it into the existing sidewalk. About 110 square feet. Project included correcting the grade for better drainage and hauling away the debris. Job was done in one day and at a very reasonable price. I should note Alvaro was the only contractor who came on-site before submitting a bid. Other contractors just bid based on photos.

"Back in September we had Eddie , Mario (Eddies right hand guy) and his crew reinvent our weed strewn back yard. Eddie suggested replacing back patio and extending it out with walkways connecting to a new shed and side of house which turned out great. They put in sod, planted plants, put in sprinklers and drip lines, all which transformed our back weed patch into staycation land. Needless to say we were extremely happy with the results. They also removed and replaced our cracked (destroyed) driveway with a nice clean looking driveway admired many times by passing neighbors (probably happy to see our destroyed one go). It also turned out fantastic. We were so happy with Eddie Mullins Landscaping that we had them return this week and put in a drought tolerant landscape in our front yard. We had a patch of artificial turf put in the center of our small front yard. Eddie suggested the other plants and rock to put in since we had no ideas of our own with Mario suggesting some Japanese maple trees to go along with the plants (thanks Mario great idea). We were amazed by the finished product. Several people have stopped and commented how nice our yard looks now. Eddie, Mario and his brother Michael did a stupendous job on our front yard.
