"We first had Brothers replace all of our doors and most of the windows with dual pane energy efficient windows about 4 years ago.  The whole process was smooth and we had no complaints.  The windows and doors have worked very well over the past few years.  We recently remodeled some rooms in the house that we hadn't replaced the windows in for some reason, so we did not hesitate to call Brothers up and finish the job.  It never even occurred to us to have someone else provide an estimate as we knew they would give us a quality product and treat us fairly.  It's nice when you have a good experience with a company and know what to expect.  This time around it went just as well.  They just finished installing two very large windows in less than 2 hours.  The one thing I would change if possible is the rather long wait time on the window manufacturing.  It takes about 1 month or so, but they are custom so probably not much they can do about it.
Their warranty and free glass replacement are great as well.  We had a couple problems with the house settling after a few years and they will take care of fixing it as part of the original service.
 Would definitely call Brother's again, but since I have no windows left it hopefully won't be any time soon.

"We had initially called to get an estimate for one window, Alex came out to meet with me and my husband, we talked to him about what we wanted, Alex took a look at the one window I was looking at replacing, my husband had already said we needed to get the siding done first, Alex took a look around the outside of the house and said, getting the window replaced would not make any sense, because the siding was in really bad shape, literally falling off the house, Alex talked to us about the benefits of replacing all of the windows and the siding, lowering our heating cost, and making our home more comfortable, also increasing the value of our home if we ever decide to sell. We were given an estimate for the work needed, I was really afraid of what may come up cost wise once they started the work, as I watch HGTV faithfully and I have seen how it goes, where the cost keeps going up. Everything we were told went as planned, we were told up front that we may need gutters, Yep we needed gutters, we had already factored the cost in. We had to delay the start date due to the weather, but once the rain had stopped Russ and his crew came out and the work went seamless, they showed up on time, worked till dark, and called me to let me know when they were leaving. The crew took pride in their work, if we had any questions or concerns, they put us at ease with their knowledge of how to do the job. They cleaned up as if they had never been here. We are really happy with the end result and so are our neighbors, several have asked if we were planning to sell. We gladly tell then NO! "(1) Scheduling was difficult. I was told materials would be ordered within 3 days (it was 1-1/2 weeks), I was told work could begin with 2 weeks (it was 3 weeks) and I was told work would take 3 days (it was 5 days). This made it difficult to schedule other renovation contractors. (2) [Person in office] did not want me to call her on the phone and told me to communicate via email only, which slowed communication. (3) There are 2 areas with minor rippling in the laminate. It's not too noticeable, but prevents me from recommending them to a friend because it is sub-par work. (4) Worker left paint splatters all over my refrigerator, sliding glass doors, bathroom sink, and bathroom floor. Other that all of the above, my experience was good/average. Kind of a high price for the quality of work. Not good enough to recommend to a friend, but acceptable."
