"They guy was very nice. He seemed to be very professional and knowledgeable. Then explained that he was going to have to make a lot of holes in the ceiling to pull the cords through. After he left, I thought that this is going to be such an expensive repair to have all the drywall fixed. The work was quite what I expected. I didn't think he should have made as many holes ceiling and his work was kind of sloppy."

"Raul is as fantastic. He kept me updated on when he would arrive. He did the work without any issues. In addition to installing light fixtures, he added two bathroom fans. He made sure the area was properly covered and he cleaned up after he was done. He needed a long term electrician for some time and now he have one."

"

Mr. Dove didn't do the work.  It was two of his employees or subcontractors.  The installation of the wiring, ceiling fan and ceiling light went fine, but the drywall repair wasn't that good.  The texture they sprayed on the walls didn't even remotely match the existing wall texture, so their patch job was obvious.  Also, they didn't reconnect something in one of the outlets so only the top socket worked.  When I notified Mr. Dove, he came out the next day to fix it.  I was impressed by Mr. Dove's professionalism, and would hire him again provided he did the work.

"Highly recommend Best builders group! We originally contracted them to remodel our master bath room and during the remodeling, we were very happy with how they work and manage our remodeling project that we decided to also remodel our kitchen while the other remodeling was in progress. Zohar had wonderful ideas and solutions which ended up with a superb job and more than that… a lot more above our expectations! The kitchen remodeling project was a hard project because they had to do some structural modifications to the ceiling by raising it up to be leveled with in our entry ceiling which at the end, it create a large entrance, modernizing the living room and kitchen by opening walls, tearing the old floor, removing the old fireplace while building a modern and classic new fireplace. This remodeling project allow us to develop a trust relationship with Zohar and his team. During the work and even before the work started, Zohar helped us with all the design ideas and helped us stay within our budgets and all the people who were involved in the work, were honest enough when they felt they could not do something. Our trust and respect was earned by them without any doubts. We highly recommend them with confidence and we look forward to hire them for any future projects!"

"From the Be Green Builders office staff to the designer and the team of workers to the owner, we can write here that we enjoyed a professional, polite, and gorgeous kitchen remodeling project that met all our requirements. The in house designer was creative, detail oriented person, and great listener to all our questions and concerns. The workers were always on time, very nice people, and they respected our house and family. The office staff (Paul) were very professional as well and they always informed us with anything relating to orders, payments etc... Not only was the kitchen project changed our house completely, but the ceilings, floors and walls were completely modified throughout the house to ensure the kitchen flowed properly with the rest of the house. Nir did a perfect remodeling job by bringing all the pieces together and made it a complete success."

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

There are many types of ceiling fans available, each designed for different spaces and needs. Standard ceiling fans are the most common type and work well in most rooms. Low-profile ceiling fans are better suited for rooms with low ceilings. Smart ceiling fans can be controlled with a smartphone or voice commands. For larger spaces with ceilings between 10 and 25 feet high, large ceiling fans are ideal. Dual-motor fans have two motors to produce more airflow in multiple directions. You can also find energy-efficient or Energy-Star models that can be up to 60% more efficient, as well as fans with built-in lights or retractable blades.

The number of blades for your fan poses both advantages and disadvantages. Typically, the more blades on a fan, the better the air distribution and cooling effect, but this also means that your fan will have more wear on its motor. For small rooms, three-blade fans should work fine. For larger areas like living rooms, four or five-blade fans might be the better option.

The direction you want your ceiling fan to move in depends on the season you’re in. During summer, you want it to move counterclockwise to produce a cooling downdraft. During winter, you want it to move clockwise to circulate warm air throughout the room.

Whether you can install a ceiling fan yourself depends on if you're replacing an existing fixture or installing one where no wiring exists. If you are replacing an existing fan, an experienced DIYer may be able to do the job, which can save on labor costs. This work typically doesn’t require a permit, but there’s always a safety risk when dealing with electrical components, so hiring a pro is still a good idea, especially if you aren't handy. Keep in mind you may need a special ladder for high or vaulted ceilings. However, if you are installing a new ceiling fan where there is no current fixture, you must hire a licensed electrician. In most areas, it is required by law that a professional runs new wiring and pulls the necessary permits. Attempting to install wiring yourself can be dangerous and a code violation.

Ceiling fans require periodic cleaning of blades to avoid dust accumulation, checking screws and connections for firmness, and occasional lubrication for components, keeping the fan running smoothly and quietly over time.
