We charge for written estimates, because it takes fuel and time to give a professional opinion. I highly recommend The German Handyman. My fence broke during some high winds which made my back yard shade canopy fall. He arrived promptly and fully explained how to address the issue the best way possible and gave me an affordable quote on the spot. He came back within two days to complete the work. I’m very happy with the quality of the work and will be contacting him the next time I need any work done around the house.

Rene Pauer, "The German Handyman", is exceptional in every significant way. He is easily accessible, responsive, punctual, honest, methodical, meticulous, extraordinarily versatile, reasonable, has the highest standards, is a very good communicator and stands behind his work. We hired him to replace 50 feet of wood fencing, replace interior and exterior lighting, mount a cabinet and repair a faulty refrigerator door. He excelled in all these tasks and did so on time and within budget. With his impressive experience in many different aspects of construction he is also very valuable as an adviser. He is bright and thoughtful and with us he made a number of excellent recommendations which we readily approved and are glad we did. With his great sense of humor he is a real pleasure to work with.
